No complaints here, just wish TB hadn't hit a grand slam at the top of the inning.

We were robbed of a walk-off bomb.

Top 10? I can’t think of one who’s definitively better. (At least for now. I don’t want to jinx anything.)

Winker is up there...not "definitively better" though.

Just passed Trout for #1 spot in MLB OPS. He and Acuna are the only players in the Top 10 under the age of 27.

Assuming Vladdy (and Bo) keep performing at or near his current level, it'll be interesting to see how aggressive Toronto will be in trying to re-sign him. He (and Bo) become UFAs in '26 if they don't get new deals.

Do they offer him a Tatis-esque mega extension in the next year or two? If so, does he take it? Dude's got a legit shot at being a top 3 (or better) player in MLB for the next 4 years. Imagine hitting free agency at 26 with that resume?

He couldn't be having a better start to a season and his NNOs are still $25-30

probably because of how condition sensitive they are.

Yeah it quite puzzling no doubt about it ! But it’s still a wonderful thing for anybody looking to buy a few of his RC’s.

I'd be snatching those up if I didn't already have a couple.

Got this in the mail yesterday. Pink refractors aren't everyone's thing, but I enjoy them and the color contrast

Nice to have in hand before last night's 2 homer game

I can only imagine what "having a couple" actually means when it comes to you! I assume a couple hundred...

Nice pickup! The Vladdy TC refractors are criminally undervalued right now. You can get raw refractors (sepia, pink, prism, regular) for around $100 raw right now. Tatis' are STILL getting twice that after chopping in half from approximately 350-400 back in mid-April.

I think the NNO's are not as rare as everybody originally though they were.

Some people though 'Acuna bat down' rare but I think the consensus is a print run of 50% to 75% of normal.

Bat down PR is like 20k, I think normal PR for series 2 is at least over 75k but someone can correct me if I'm wrong

Nearly 4,000 PSA 10's out there of the NNO. It's hardly rare at all, but still a great card.

Print run for 2019 Series 2 would be in the six figures for each base card.

Normal print run is at least 200,000. You have to factor in the complete sets.

With a few rare exceptions, Bat Down was one per case (unless you got two Bat Downs and no Gleybers like I did)

NNO was pretty close to 1 per Jumbo box. I got 5 in my jumbo case. (4 got PSA 10)

If I was starting a team right now and could pick any player I'd take Vlad first. Over Acuna, Soto, and Tatis. I said it. Change my mind.

I think people may be underestimating the overall softening of the market in the last month or so. A 50% increase in anything lately should be viewed as a pretty impressive gain IMO.
Context.

Yea I am seeing it across the board. Starting to think hype>performance.

Still can't bring myself to pay $100 for any rookie parallel of a guy barley hitting over .200.
