No. They are not accepting slabbed cards for crossover services.

This is probably a hill I'll die on, but I still feel the Tatis All Star Game Stamp from the Complete Set is a deal in comparison with his Base Flagship. I get it's a pull from Complete Sets, but pop 362 vs 12,000+ (jeez, that escalated quickly.)

I've sold out of all 3 of my flagship PSA 10s, but I'm holding the All-Star.

For the past 2 years I was probably in the 65-70% success range of crossing BGS slabs to PSA 10s. In my final 12 express crossover attempts that I sent to PSA before the shutdown, I went 0 for 12. They cracked down hard. It wasn't just bad luck.

Do you think the BGS grading declined? Or PSA just decided to frustrate crossover grades?

Said another way: if you cracked yourself, do you think your legacy success rate would remain? Or are the BGS 9.5 gem mint no longer what they are stacked up to be?

I could imagine why: the risk of damage must be high. I’ve never tried cracking, but the idea scares me

These as well

another thing that people have to keep in mind is that the hobby back then was MUCH different.

the "monetary value" was waaaaaaaaay less. None of those trouts i showed cost me over $50

the Lebron was $300 and the Kobe was $500 when i crossed them over

This gets my vote. Got it for less than a refractor. It's a "Sapphire," to boot.

Three years ago I sent in 4 BC Trout TG’s to cross over and all came back 10’s. After that, I was like 0 for 6 and haven’t submitted crossovers in a while. I will crack out going forward.

If I was a betting man, I would guess that crossing slabs will no longer be a thing at PSA...moving forward. I think they will do away with it.

well, NOW there is no choice but to crack.

having said that, i agree that if they were to bring it back, i would recommend cracking out

Nice part of cracking a BGS slab is the card is in their little sleeve, i still dont recommend, theres plenty of group graders who do it without issue but theres definitely a risk

I agree with you 100%. I own one #410 PSA10 and 4 All-Star complete sets PSA10's. Maybe the market never corrects itself, but I would not be surprised if one day it was selling for double or triple. I kind of equate it to Ronald Acuna Jr. US250 and chrome. Last year at this time the chromes were going for way less. The market corrected over the past few months.

PSA is much stricter overall on all grades. I get 9s on perfect cards now, used to have very good luck with crosses up until 2018.

Some of the most perfect cards I own are PSA 9s

They look better than some PSA 10s
