If Bryan returns at the rumble, but Reigns wins, Reins could get the Batista treatment all over again.

I think Reigns would get treated better than Batista did. At least Reigns has been active, other than his injury keeping him out. Batista just showed up and won the rumble. I do think Bryan would get a bigger pop easy.

There is a way around that:
1) Have Bryan enter at #1
2) Have a heel eliminate Bryan very early, somewhere between spots 8-12. This way Bryan is out of the match before Reigns even enters.
3) Reigns enters at #15, cleans house and goes on to win.

This would transfer the potential heat off of Reigns and on to a heel that is ready for a heel push. My pick would be Cesaro. The cheap heat that would be created from Cesaro eliminating Bryan so early in the Rumble would be astronomical. Played the right way, this could get Cesaro into the main event as an old-school heel.

Or the fans could start a boo fest towards EVERYTHING after his elimination. Tough to tell.

I heard a rumor that WWE plans on Brock being a longer champion than Bruno Sanmartino. That's because he never wrestles. How's that for all the people on this board and elsewhere that wanted Brock champion.I'm sure a champ along the lines of Ziggler,Bray,Ambrose,Rollins would be defending it before January if even then.

But that's exactly my point. You would WANT them to boo everything. The trick would be getting someone talented enough to channel those boos into straight heel heat and a main event heel push. Like I said before, my pick would be Cesaro.

Nothing they do is going to surprise me anymore. It's amazing how far the product has fallen in just the last 7 years or so.

Gotcha. If they want a monster heel, that is how to do it.

I understand why Brock is the champ and will probably be the champ until WM. The WWE is at a weird place right now, Bryan is out for a while and they don't want Cena to have the belt because people are tired of how predictable and common that has become. The younger guys like rollins, Roman and Ambrose are not polished enough to win it yet. So that leaves Brock, who is a credible name and someone that can hold the belt for several months and it not be crazy. People seem to forget that as early as the 1990's the WWE champ did not always defend his title on a regular basis. I know the champ almost always defended on PPV's but sometimes that wasn't even the case.

I can understand that. The thing is he will never even make an appearance anywhere until WM.They already said you'll never see him at a house show, and when will he even fight before Wrestlemania.I sure they could've found someone that actual would make an appearance once a month or so.Ziggler,Orton.

Good points. But the champion was on TV even when he didn't defend back then. It makes the product look much weaker without the presence of a champion IMO.

Went to a Union show in Japan yesterday and had a freaking blast as always. Made me realize how bad the WWE really does suck right now.

Went to a house show today. Was quite alright.

Ziggler beat Cesaro to Retain- 4 out of 5
R-Truth beat Fandango- 2 out of 5
Zack Ryder beat Brad Maddox- 3 out of 5
Great Khali beat Brad Maddox- 0 out of 5.
Rusev beat Swagger- Same ole finish as always in their matches. 2 out of 5
GoldStar beat the Usos- 3 out of 5
Adam Rose beat Mizdow- 2 out of 5(Mizdow made it great)
Divas "Dance Off"- 0 out of 5 except The AMAZING yes chant started after Brie Locked the Yes lock in and did the hands in the air shiz.
Dean Ambrose beat Kane in a street fight- 4 out of 5 Great match. I think it ended a bit weird though. Ambrose hit what looked like a future Shock to win. There was a part near the end in which Ambrose was chokeslammed through a table, I legit thought they would let the night end with a Kane win, it was a great spot. Ambrose wasn't as over with th crowd as Cena was last year.

Anyone catch TNA's BFG PPV?? I saw a the last couple matches and it looked awful inside and outside the ring. This is their WM and it looks to be filmed in a high school gym with 250 people.

Eh, it's more like their WCW Greed as there's a good chance it'll be their last PPV.

Must be nice. I saw Over the Limit 2010 in person at Joe Louis in Detroit. A damn shame because I was Row 1 TV side in the seats above the floor seats. Orton hurt himself pounding the ring. Punk's match got stopped twice because he was bleeding. It was horrible. If you watch any videos of it, I'm in a red Iverson jersey with a Phillies hat. My buddy next to me has a look of horror (he was disgusted) during the Orton injury. DQ finish to the title match, and a horrible Cena/Big Show I Quit match. Look up the wikipedia on the event. It's hilarious.

Also, have fun at the show!

Batista is being considered to be the villain of the new Bond movie.

It's pretty insane how fast he moved up the Hollywood ladder. Villain in Bond is probably the biggest part for a wrestler.

Hogan's Rocky could be argued, but he was only a cameo - a villain in Bond is just crazy. Considering when he was on with Jericho, he said he still couldn't get into auditions after The Man with the Iron Fists.

Guess that's what being in a huge summer blockbuster movie will do for you.

Just love how Stephanie told everyone they stripped Daniel Bryan of the belt cause the WWE champ needs to be active, seen and defend the title. With the amount of appearances Brock makes they should just let Bryan keep the belt and create an angle of him taunting the heels until hes ready for contact action.

My guess is that he will be more like a lead henchmen, think like Oddjob. I loved Batista in Guardians of the Galaxy and this would still be a pretty awesome job to land.

And being good in it... don't forget that... being one-eyed guy in Total Recall didn't do a lot for Sting - however that part wasn't as big as Batista's.

I take it your are under the assumption that what is done from week to week matters and that they follow a plot?

I didn't think of that - being a side villain, I read it as lead bad guy. Still something like Oddjob is on par with Hogan's cameos and probably just below some of Rock's leads.

I thought Batista signed a two year full time deal? He's only worked a few months of that.
