eh, those are all playoff teams last year save Suns and Hawks, who are both likely playoff teams this year

That post was just about the Hawks ranking 1st, don't expect them to be there the rest of the way either, but I find 1st week/month stats entertaining.

Why not? They probably don't end up 1st overall, but should be near the top in half-court efficiency. That's what having a lot of shooting+playmakers does.

Boy o boy I am sure there are some people who are kicking themselves for selling Roby too soon.

I could write a book on regretful sales.

It’s hard to say, barely a week into the season.

Mavs for example were Top 2 last year simply because they complemented one of the league’s best playmaker with top-ranked roll men and potent shooters.

ATL’s roll man efficiency isn’t as good so far. John Collins was Top 5 last season but none of ATL’s frontcourt are in Top 20 this season, good news however is the Hawks catch and shoot is elite and is one of the main reason they’re ranked 1st.

Don’t want to over analyze this. You’ll get a better gauge mid season where habits and routine are starting to really form.

One 20 point game doesn’t make a legacy he can easy go back to bench scoring nothing let’s not get too ahead of ourselves

I think they're going to improve on this one... Capela just played his first game as a Hawk on Monday, and played only 20 minutes. Okongwu hasn't played yet. They may not be world-beaters right away, but I don't think it's going to be below-average once Capela/Okongwu get some reps in / get used to how they fit in the offense.

It doesn't, but did you actually watch him play? Horford isn't a long term player for OKC and considering that was Robys first nba start, and that before that he'd played 11 minutes total last season, he was extremely impressive.

I did actually watch him play as I have a nice shai and tracking his progress I’ve also seen Shaq Harrison pour in points

I think the Hawks have a bit of a problem with having "too much" wing/forward talent right now. Hunter/Reddish/Bogdan/Gallo/Huerter are all good NBA players but playing time is spread too thin for any of them to shine.

Once Bogdan learns the offense he'll start at SG. Reddish should be SF, Hunter backup PF with Onyeka backup C

That's the most arbitrary comparison ever

For one, Harrison was undrafted, which should tell you about his perceived potential, whereas Roby was drafted, by the Mavs, who have a history of good drafting.

In Shaq Harrison's first NBA start, 3 years ago, he had already played an exponential number of minutes with 90 compared to 11 for Roby. He scored 14 points against the 36-46 Hornets in that start...sure, same thing.

Reddish is awful. No way he should start over Hunter.

Literally no defense in this Nets game.

Also looks like it’s time for KD to shave it off
