It was a great ride. Those who cashed out on Mahomes before the Super Bowl, congrats. This is only my opinion, but I don't think the long-term outlook for Mahomes's career is good. He has a great arm, but his fundamentals are poor. Eventually dropping back 20 yards to pass will turn into significant negative yardage when he gets a little slower with age and wear. The sacks are coming. If he can transform into a straight pocket passer, the outlook will be markedly better. He also needs to beg the Chiefs for a running game.

P.S. Skip Bayless is a superb analyst of sports affairs.

I don’t believe the brain power and signatures required to sign off on a $500,000,000.00 Contract were “off” on their assessment, and that Publius from the BO Boards is spot on, instead .........

Well, consider this. The Angels paid over $400 million to a player who will never lead them to a World Series. Different sport, same dynamic.

Considering I don’t collect to invest, I collect for the love of baseball, I could care less about the market collapsing.

Except that a collapse would enable more people to collect and participate in the hobby!

I don’t know, friend ..... comparing the ability of a Quarterback VS a Centerfielder to affect the outcome of a Game doesn’t pan out very well over here in the Baseball Section of BO ( or any SportsBar in America.... )

Makes sense if you don't think about history being littered with wasted contracts that were bigger in their own time.

My prediction of the crash is spring of 2022. Here is the reason, I do think we will have one more Covid wave late this fall even with the vaccinated due to kids not getting the vaccine yet but it won't be anywhere else it is now. I do see a bit more regulations tightening up at the end of the year while the vaccine lines up with the variants which I do think will be fixed by the winter time. I think the vaccine will be for kids starting at the end of the year. Once Covid winds down next spring for the most part as it doesn't mutate like the flu, I see a lot of people putting money away from vacations. Once everything is laxed by next summer, people are going to be going on big time vacations due to not being able to for two plus years. This is my take, could be wrong, my prediction of the card market crashing 75% due to the pandemic was certainly wrong.
