I just popped in for a quick peak to see if everyone was seeing what i am seeing. Collation is the worst i have seen from Topps since i have been opening cases (10+ years). Similarly, I 20 of some cards and 2 of others... Its like they are doing this to force us to buy more product.

Agree. It'd be weird for any player but he, in particular, already has a history of blowing off autos.

It's hard to be a fan. If he's doing stupid stuff like this, he's probably cutting corners elsewhere and that usually catches up to guys.

I didn't get any non-base duplicates in my entire case, however all my rainbow foils were almost exactly the same players as my sandglitter parallels.

Not a well thought out idea. If it is not available in Series 1 products, then it isn't true Flagship. And the PR backlash for monetizing their error would not be good.

Who carried Series 2 last year? Somehow Topps/Fanatics survived.

The rookie SP, especially the F Face variations, carried series 2 last year. So definitely a bit of a manufactured demand to make S2 have some juice.

And there will be rookie SPs in Series 2 this year as well.

I didn't watch the whole interview, did they ask Mahan about this type of stuff? Collation and card quality are real issues. Them eliminating a parallel color is not.

The real question is why you need Series 1, Series 2, AND Update.

The structure used for Heritage is much better (500 card regular set + 225-card update set).

I'm surprised that fanatics hasnt gone to breaker delight with topps series 1 yet. If breakers dont ship or sort base cards and only the hits why even bother printing all that base which will just go in the landfill.

I got seven all base packs in my hobby box? Is that normal? The blaster box I got was ultimately better than the hobby box.

I got my "hit" (Kyle Tucker GU bat) and a green to /99. But the bulk inserts were almost nonexistant.

Opened two jumbos on Wednesday that were preordered from Topps.

The two silver packs were all base 1990 35th and look nice. Didn’t include pics of any of the 1990 35th or the basic parallels.

Here’s the nicer parallels, inserts and hits from the two jumbos.

Pre ordered a couple of jumbos, hobbies, and two megas. Have only had the chance to open a hobby and one of the megas. Not bad though a really nice Schwarber patch auto /10 and a Judge HFA out of the mega.
