OKC very messy late again, and Jokic is so tough in a close game

SGA missed a couple key shots at the end of regulation and disappeared in OT. OKC is going to need him in crunch time.

So a couple parting thoughts on the Pacers-Cavs G3. I think that Indy didn't really try that hard. Maybe they were willing to give one up, just to give Mathurin his run as leader and also to see what the Cavs would throw at them, needing a win desperately.

The answer was zone and more zone.

The verdict is that without Haliburton, Nesmith, and the others really trying (Myles always tries), the team will lose to a team as deep and with length as Cleveland. I don't think Cavs sniff another victory, unless Garland and Mobley step up another level and prove they are all that.

On the Cavs side, some fans opined that yeah, of course having two of your main guys out is going to hamper chances of a victory.

But I don't really think they showed that much more depth. I mean unsolvable depth. Pacers in 6.

How do the Cavs not sniff another victory, but you have Pacers in 6? Lol

Wild second round so far.

Each game seems to be its own animal and I’m pretty much done trying to predict outcomes at this point. Most series outcomes are going to depend on who gets hot, who can make adjustments quickly, and who can stay on the floor. Nothing seems certain.

If Mobley steps it up to another level, then he's full on 2007-08 Kevin Garnett and the Cavs will win a title.

18 points, 13 rebounds, 4 assists, 3 steals, 3 blocks, 0 turnovers.

He's shooting 44% from 3 and 86% from the 3 pt line in the playoffs.

To add to it, his usage in the zone defense is what changed the direction of that game yesterday. There are so few in the league that can do what he did. Pay attention to the score at the beginning of this clip and then at the end : https://www.reddit.com/r/nba/comment...one/?rdt=54842

So yeah, if he plays better from here, I'm sure the Cavs beat the Pacers into submission (they're going to win anyways if they can stay healthy)

Just saw Draymonds pathetic comments from post game few days ago...

He's "tired of the agenda being pushed and being painted as an angry black man"

Gee I dunno...how about not punching or elbowing players in the face...not kicking or stepping on players nuts...or while we're at it punching your own teammate at practice..

Yeah.."narrative"

I used to like Draymond. But the last 5 years all he's done is bark at refs in an angry manor plus all the incidents.

Pulling the race card is weak

Mobley. That was the name I was searching for. Future star in the league. Good organization. But this isn't their year.

I said the Cavs wouldn't sniff victory "unless Garland and Mobley step up another level and prove they are all that." I think they will, to an extent. Pacers in 6 or 7.

Between basketball and hockey, we've been blessed with some really great drama recently.

earlier you said 6. Now it's 6 or 7?

either way, the Pacers were playing out of there minds. I'll give them game one. game two was a fluke win. Halliburton shrunk back to nothingness in game three.

Hard for me to call this but I say Cavs in 7.

Come on brah...it's not rocket surgery...the Pacers clearly tanked a game to get the Cavs hopes up just to crush them with the mighty power of Nesmith!

It's gonna be an interesting game for sure. I wouldn't want to bet on it. I do know that this edition Pacers always seems to respond to humiliating defeats with dominant wins. But then this is the Cavs.

I used to watch games like that and call Hali overrated myself. But I came to believe. Mark of greatness is adjusting.

Two interesting games 4s today. Both home teams are heavy underdogs.

I think the Pacers really need a win tonight if they’re going to win the series. Giving back the home court after winning the first two games on the road would be brutal.

Denver would really strike a blow If they won tonight. I don’t see OKC winning 4 in a row.

I think this is like a crossroads that the Pacers needed to face. With all of their previous playoff games and series, pundits said Indiana was benefitting from injuries on the other side. Giannis missing last year, Knicks bench decimated (OG), and of course Dame last series.

Then the first three games of this series with like 2-3 key Cleveland components out. So now we hypothetically have two fully rested and healthy teams, familiar with their respective capacities, going head-to-head for the first time.

Pacers need to re-earn that brief moment of being the second ranked team for Finals victory. By beating Indy, Cavs could earn that.

Teams are both brick city and sloppy so far.

Combined 1-21 from deep. Ugly.
