Also, as a seller this would maybe help too. For example, I have about 100+ lower grade '72 BB high numbers and if someone came along and wanted a large group of them I would consider lowering that price across the board.

Do you guys agree with me? Seems so antiquated that you can't message anyone there.......Thanks, Pat
best thing about COMC is no contact.

I won an auction and paid with credit but I just got a nonpayment notice because comc is so great at running their business. The person that should be marking items as paid is not doing their job. This is typical comc. Awful customer service and never being prepared.

Very cool man. They should not have posted this. Jerk move. You always have great deals and good prices.

Dustin, get a life. There is nothing jerk-like about wanting to contact a seller about a card I am interested in, that's how business is done on just about any platform EXCEPT COMC!

On Ebay if I have Best offer on an item and the buyer messages instead of making an offer I tend to ignore them if they persist I block them, if I don't have best offer then that means I am not interested in taking offers at all.. I don't have time to get all personal with a buyer. You make an offer and take it from there.

Thats the beauty of internet commerce. There is no right or wrong way. Some prefer as little hands on as possible others prefer to want to become best buddies with the buyer or seller.

Personally I don稚 see why COMC just doesn稚 do it both ways. Have no contact be default and allow sellers (and buyers) to opt in to some message system. I am in the process of buying a bunch of cards for a show and it is a pain having to shop several different platforms to get the best deals. I知 making offers on cards but sellers are countering higher than I can get them for on eBay or sportlots including shipping. If I could send them a note saying as much then maybe I could do all of my buying on COMC, but as it is I知 making purchases from several different platforms to get the best deals.

I知 sure I do similar things as a seller too just concerned with the pricing on COMC because I知 not going to do a crap ton of research to sell a $1 card but if someone pointed something out I would probably just make the deal.

I would personally prefer to opt in to some messaging feature, but understand why some would not.

COMC did actually reply to my email about my shipment being 5 days late. You all will be shocked, but they didn't even acknowledge that it was late - no apology, explanation, etc. Basically just said "it shipped yesterday. thanks"

Pretty upset they list 13/14 young guns as base card.

I wouldnt have shipped 100 13/14 young guns there otherwise.

If you look up any other year you will find a boatload of them listed , but if you search 13-14 young guns search only come up to 26.

So, I bought an item on COMC's eBay auctions, paid for it with credit ~$35.00 and went to relist it to their site for $70.

They want a $.50 upgrade fee!?!?!?!? I thought they're doing super scans for eBay and asking people to submit items that could sell for 1000s of dollars. What type of upgrade is necessary from that to sell an item at $70? Has anybody else had this problem in trying to flip an COMC/eBay auction item?

That is the standard upgrade for cards over 50.00. If you reprice a card that was originally submitted via the basic method then you are charged an upgrade fee.

Its funny how the upgrade fee always seems to be working but everything else is always broken

My 6 batches due 2/12 (about 2700 cards) are now showing 3/3 also. I have 2 more batches due 3/3 already. Maybe those will get processed before the summer smh. I致e got 6000 more cards packed up and ready to ship off but I may need to wait until they get caught up before I send anymore in.

My order that was due 2/7 and mostly went live from 2/6-2/10 still has about a dozen cards that continue to get pushed back. I have another 500 card order that I won't even consider sending until they get back on track.

It's really like BGS/PSA all over again. The business is pouring in faster than ever, and there's little effort to scale up staff to match it. I'm sure the auctions are more time consuming than they expected, but the core of their business is suffering because of it.

I'm thinking the other direction on this - you have a chance at 50% off fees and waiting just makes it even longer before your cards are processed. Get them in the queue and if they go over you get a discount.

Oh I知 pleased with the 50% off processing. Currently saving me several hundred in processing fees. I値l send them in this week I guess. A few hundred are select. I hope those will at least process in the timeframe they are supposed to. I知 just worried they will scrap that whole 50% fees deal soon and neglect to announce it to anyone. I知 sure it痴 affecting their bottom line somehow.... and you know they love their money. Tried calling them 3 times today. Never could get anyone to pick up.

I'm with others who don't want the personal contact. If I have a card for sale and you can get it cheaper on sportslots, I think it would be responsible of you to buy it on sportslots. If enough people do this, my card will eventually move to the top of the list and it will sell. I don't want to sell all of my cards for the lowest price among all platforms, and I don't want to explain that to potential buyers over and over. I also don't want to be thought of as a jerk for not replying. So for that reason the COMC platform works out best for me.

Problem eith that is for me many cards i submit would be among the first to hit the site. They seem to be processing parts of new orders while pushing those late further and further back. This means by the time some items are hitting the site is overly saturated making it harder to move items for what you wrre expecting when you submitted

I have an order of about 500 cards due in mid-March. The thing I am most afraid of with things not being listed on time is the fact that they could then get pushed back to the end of the line and it could theoretically be months/years before they are listed. They would have no incentive to list my stuff as the half off fee damage would have already been done.

That is what they seem to be doing.
