It would've been nice to see him make the same exact card, but in his oil painting or charcoal style. A quick photoshop is just lazy and detracts from his artist set.

I am 1/12 and only because I want to complete the Alex Pardee set. The Mookie Betts card isn’t fabulous by any definition of the word.

That cat card today is atrocious.

Ok, is there something going on that I don’t know about?

Early P70 cards have been flying off the shelf, (so to speak), this evening with several different buyers buying several at a time.

Is there internet chatter somewhere that I haven’t seen/heard? Gary V having a change of heart?

People are probably seeing the light at the end of the tunnel and started to round out sets nnd plug some holes. That would be my guess

I plugged some holes off your site about 6-8 weeks ago. You still had a lot of cards priced at the pre-sale price though

Man, whoever thought daily multi-packs would be a tough sell wasn't kidding!

Besides those impressive folks completing the whole set, I can't imagine anyone who looks at today's 6 and says, "I need all of those for $100!"

The Harper is kind of drab. Something is missing on it. Perhaps my least favorite card today, with a lot of contenders...I guess the blue on the Betts is nice but too many Bettses. The Undefeated Perez at least is a cool player choice but it's a card full of big text. The Naturel Scherzer is fine, and cool for our peer whose input affected it, but I'm no longer excited by his cards. The Yogi is charming, but just looks like some slime got spilled on it. It honestly is possible that the Gonsolin is favorite card today, and I think its negatives are pretty self-explanatory.

They can't come off the Topps site soon enough to protect me from convincing myself I'll want them someday....

I skimmed over most of that multi-hour video, but plan on going back sometime and watching his process.

I've watched a couple of them and they've been cool. One thing that really comes through is that Naturel actually enjoys cards, collects them himself, drew some inspiration from cards in the 90s he likes. I appreciate the artists that actually connect with the hobby in that way.
