I contacted their CS asking about an exchange because I really wanted a signed copy. We will see what happens.

I had the exact same issue when I ordered a signed book by Sarah Michelle Gellar. I hope it does not happen again this time.

That sucks, I'm sorry man. I missed the B&N deal but got the BAM deal so I'll post here once I get my books as to whether they are signed or not.

That really sucks on B&N, they better not have put "extra stock" aside for their annual year-end autograph book Black Friday sales.

Got mine from B&N today. signature looks great. No sticker on the cover, and it does have a bit of a rough cut on the pages as was previously mentioned.

My response to B&N:

"I can't begin to tell you how frustrated I am regarding this. I pre-ordered on August 11th and it is an extreme letdown to me that I received the wrong book and Barnes & Noble has no intention of making this right. The offer of a partial refund or to return the book is aggravating to me. The partial refund would still put the cost of the book at $19.99 - which is more than it is being marketed for on many online book stores. Returning the book for a refund just means that you held on to my money for two and a half months and have not fulfilled your obligation as a retailer. It seems like you've pulled a bait and switch.

I would think you would try and make some effort to obtain a copy of the book signed, so I can exchange what you sent me, for what I was promised."

Mine was still in CA as of the 19th so I'll still be waiting another 2 weeks or so here in Ireland as they're using Asendia as the shipping carrier. Really hope I don't get screwed over, seems like a genuine error in which they should rectify with a signed copy or that they sold to many signed copies and are handing out unsigned copies to cover the rest and then offering that crappy solution, sorry to hear it happen to you either way
