Joker movie - Page 4

Well, it's kind of like "Sling Blade", a movie nothing much happens in until Karl cuts Doyle's head clean in two with a lawnmower blade, um-hm. They don't even show the actual violence beyond a splash of blood, but it is a visceral moment. This "Joker" will likely have things like that in it. No way they should show any of that in the trailer. If the movie is good, it'll make a ton of money. If it stinks, no trailer could save it. They don't need to court any particular type of movie-goer here.

If it takes you 23 years to see a movie, you waited too long.

(By the way, in "Citizen Kane", Rosebud is a sled Kane owned as a child.
It represents his carefree days as a child and the last time he was truly happy.)

I can see where some concerns are coming from though. You did have a lunatic shoot up a theater no less than seven years ago claiming to be the Joker. I by no means think it should stop movies from being made, just saying that I get some of the eye brow raising this movie is causing.

So much good and bad hype for this movie. Bad as in someone might do something crazy. My movie theater will be banning costumes for this movie, extra off duty police will be there and they will be using a metal wand to search people who see this movie.

I just can't imagine enjoying a movie unless I can dress up in a costume. Those bastards!

Its pretty ridiculous that other people now have the right to tell you what you can and cannot wear when you go to a movie.
