I tried so hard to sell my 246 Porter Base Prizm RCs for $700 this summer and couldn't get any takers. Glad they didn't sell as I see some selling for $6.00+ each now.

He's looking better on defense tonight. 2 blocks in the 3rd!

This is big time! Really demonstrated how he can use his length to make up for his lack of quickness.

And he is moving so much better off of the ball on O. He is going to get so many easy buckets if he gets more run with the 1st team.

So are you selling them now? Or still holding?

MPJ's stats were almost as good as Frank Kaminsky's last night.

Yeah I hope he does but it's not going to be all that common this season if I had to guess. Jerami Grant is just so much more polished than him right now (check out his stats from last night). He'll be ahead of Porter Jr in the rotation for the foreseeable future IMO, unless they play alongside each other. Which might actually work in some cases as we saw last night.

Supposedly he is too injury prone and his ceiling is Danilo Gallinari

Go on... He's played 3 preseason games averaging just under 11 points but please tell us how much of a super star he's gonna be

Just hilarious to me how "investors" think it's somehow an insult to say his trajectory is Gallo. Casual fans have no clue how lethal of a scorer that dude is.

I'm in for the long haul may not happen this year I just hope he can stay health and build on his first season. I honestly hope they dont rush him into a starting position till he is ready.

Pretty sure I watch enough basketball to know his ceiling is more along the lines of KD but what do I know, hell what do analysts know I guess you should maybe apply to be one since you are clearly so much more knowledgeable than most everyone on these forums?

Yeah, I agree with you. Grant was a solid pickup for them. Just happy to see MPJ willing to do the little things that he has to do to be a solid NBA player. At least in the very small sample size we've seen so far.

The dollar signs are getting in the way of your common sense. Considering no professional scouts were saying his ceiling was KD, I'm sure you know better. "He tall. He shoot ball good!"

I actually watch tape of kids coming out of college and do player analysis for fun. Let's do a fun little exercise... We're going to compare their games instead of just saying stuff with nothing to back it up.

Shooting, Ball-handling, defense, rebounding, facilitating. Take KDs college tape and we can compare it to MPJs HS tape.

If you asked BO every 6'10 forward who could shoot 3s would be Durant

I don't think it's an insult to compare him to Gallo, just a bit off base imo. As a Nuggets fan, I loved him. I just don't know if "lethal scorer" is how I'd describe him seeing as how he never averaged 20ppg.

If things work out well for MPJ, I can see 20ppg at least once in his career. Especially playing with Jokic.

Wasn't Thon Maker supposed to be the next KD? Why does MPJ get to inherit the trophy from Thon Maker?

That explains it, you are right cause you "watch tape" I guess you are in the process of becoming a analyst what was I thinking

How do you justify saying his ceiling is KD?

He’s looked so good I’d be surprised if they don’t make some trades to free up minutes for him, I suspect Barton could be on the move

I'm not a professional scout nor do I claim to be but I actually have opinions and analysis rooted in reality because I watch games and player. It's obvious that you can't breakdown his game for a player comparison because you don't.

Your "fantasy land analysis" is rooted entirely in dollar signs and not reality. When your "knowledge" of basketball is based on how much you have invested in a certain player you'll more than likely be wrong most of the time.

I have, I've watched all 3 games. He looks good, I'm not saying he looks like trash.

Still obviously worried about the injury history but I was mostly just trying to get the other dude to justify his KD prediction with actual insightful analysis (he can't).

I'd be really surprised if they traded Barton. He's a great bench scorer and a capable ball-handler. I won't be surprised if they move him to the bench this season for Grant, though. Love Grant's length and defensive ability. He's also a capable set shooter.

I could see MPJ realistically get somewhere in the area of 20mpg off the bench this season. If he averages over 10ppg this year I think that's a huge win for the Nuggets.

Well let's see 6'10-6'11 silky smooth shot, has handles, can and will develop his defensive side as he gets more playing time. Said he reminds him of a young KD by analyst and former player Chauncey Billups btw. He has a way to go to actually be compared to KD one of the top 5 currently in the NBA but all I said is I beileve that is MPJs ceiling you are entitled to your own opinion. As far as investment you can ask Leon the OP of this thread I actually collect MPJ and have from when he got drafted till now.
