I've been buying FOTL almost since the beginning. I don't have a bot and have been shut out one time before the dutch auctions. Over time I have accepted the dutch auction and it is more fair to collectors IF the basement is MSRP. Not if going forward the basement is 5-10 times MSRP or a price that mostly no average buyer will pay.

I didn't mean just NT I referring to all of their products. The markup that distributors have put on their products is insane. I'm sure the difference in price of what they sold to distributors and what the distributors received is staggering.

There were Zion and someone and Morant/Hachimura dual NT blockchain Logoman 1/1 cards that went on Panini's site for less than a box of this will sell for. Pretty sure the RJ Barrett 1/1 went for under $5k. Coby White 1/1 under $3k. Hachimura 1/1 under $4k. What are the chances a 4 box case will have a single card as good as any of those? You could have purchased all 5 for about what 2-3 boxes of NT FOTL will sell for.

None of those options above look fun to me; odds are too long. $90 for a 99 spot serial number for a single box??? Does that seriously make sense? Yeesh sorry I never gambled errr I mean joined group breaks like that bahahaha

Breakers will definitely buy it once it gets to a certain price-point.

Not only will they be able to fill lines, they'll make some good cashback (or accrue lots of mileage, etc).

Lukas sell for 50K plus. I think Zion can fetch even more. But still absurd to have box prices are this level.

To be honest, it probably was never the true intent of the program. Maybe they voiced it a few times to build interest and support for the program but they probably had bigger plans for it back then (just took them some time to get there and act on it).

I predict that Panini themselves will start offering group breaks on their website at some point in the near future. It appears Panini is all about maximizing profit at this point.

Why keep selling product at reduced costs to distributors and breakers only to see them take a large portion of the profits while doing zero work?

Panini introduced Blockchain this year and I would bet they’re developing a new portion of their website dedicated to online group breaks. It would be easy for them. Hire a few new employees and have them do nothing but breaks all day every day. Hell, you could have a different section for each sport. The profits would be even higher than they’re seeing now (which is scary to think).
