Another Sunday, another TD for Mike.

Big road win for the Bucs in Lambeau too.

Might mess around and end up first ballot if he keeps it up for another 1-2 yrs. Got to be the best WR in his era.

Is he even better than his fellow 2014 rookie Davante Adams?

Yes. I'd argue miles better.

Davante Adams sabotaged his career by leaving the sure thing with Aaron Rodgers for below average Derek Carr

Their stats aren't that far apart and Adams has three 1st team all pros compared to zero for Evans. That's big for voters.

I don't buy the All pro argument. If Mike Evans played for any other team he'd have as many if not more All pros than Davante Adams.

That's one advantage Adams had, he played for one of the most popular teams in America and had a future Hall of famer throwing to him for the first half of his career. Hence, he had the spotlight on him the entire time he was in GB.

Meanwhile, Mike Evans has played for a small market team his whole career and had quarterbacks like Josh McCown, Mike Glennon and Jameis Winston.

I would say that for most of his career Mike Evans has done more with less than Adams.

I'm not going to get into an Adams vs. Evans debate, because I do believe they're close. However, you "not buying the All-Pro argument" is a completely biased way of addressing the situation. You can't dismiss what actual HOF voters use for criteria because it doesn't fit your narrative. The fact of the matter is All-Pros matter A LOT. In fact, it matters more than any other metric. For instance, Super Bowls mean almost nothing though fans believe they do. Yards mean close to nothing though fans believe they do.

Could Evans get in? Absolutely, but he's going to be waiting behind Tyreek and Adams because of those All-Pros.

Well it doesn't matter whether you buy it or not. It isn't an opinion. It's a fact that Evans is 3 behind Adams. Also irrelevant how popular the team he played for is.

You also left out Evans had Brady for 3 seasons who is the GOAT. McCown and Glennon didn't play many games with Evans in total (one season's worth combined).

Yes Evans has had a really strong career up to this point and he will probably end up in the HOF. That doesn't mean he's the best WR of his era let alone his draft class.

Two entire states hate the Pack.

Nobody outside Tampa thinks about the Bucs.

Trust me.

It's way more than two states who hate the Pack.

I hate ultra-modern cards, but definitely will pick up some colored Mike Evans Topps Chrome rookies. Collecting future HOF players is cheap and investing in rookie QB's is stupid.

Especially if he and the voters allow that guy to be inducted into the Hall of Fame.

That alone is a fireable offense.

JJ Watt and I agree, Mike Evans is a first ballot Hall of Famer.

Love how people keep discounting him.

Dude is absolute money and on his way to the HOF. Might not be first ballot, but he will get there.

2 more TD's today. Good job for the future HOFer.

There's no way he's playing elsewhere. The Glazers will move Heaven & Earth to ensure he retires a Buccaneer.

There would be an all-out revolt if he went to another team.

Sealed the deal after this season. There is something to be said for consistency. Evans just produces.

Agree. This has been a fantastic year for him. He has an excellent connection with Baker. Hopefully, he re-signs with the Bucs.
