Concerns with Beal are:

1) doesn't play much defense, so he's going to have to go to a system that doesn't require much from him on that end
2) has a recurring hammy issue that can't seem to go away, which is concerning

I can see a fit with Miami since they're so devoid of consistent scoring outside of Jimmy. And he'll have to buy into the 'scrap or die' mentality by default. But the price is going to be insane.

I guess that's just the new financial baseline that's continually being pushed every year.

Westbrook beasted with the Wizards that season and was the only reason the Wiz made the Playoffs.

It wasn't Beal. He has done very little in his career and chose to get the big pay day instead of going to a winner

His contract at this point is cancer for any team that isn't desperate.

I can see Philly going after him if they lose Harden.

Then they'll lose in the 2nd round as always.

Beal averaged 31.3pts/4reb/4 assists on 49%/35%/89% splits. To say it was all Westbrook is the exact type of disrespect I am talking about.

I hope whatever team he goes to wins it all.

Stats are everything obviously.

They were terrible, lead by Beal, until Westbrook went on a tear to get them in to the play in.

Beal has really done nothing but cash cheques and put up numbers on a loser.

In a dream scenario, it would be fun to see Lamelo and Zion on the same team.

That would put bums on seats for a long while

Yuck.

Hard pass
Will be nice for the Wizards to finally be rid of him.

Again your bias is strong. Sit this one out.

The best version of Beal was the early years, when he was hitting close to 40% on 30's than 35% like he does now. Again he's a very good player on a complete albatross contract and with the new luxury tax aprons I don't know why a team would deal for him.

So then by that logic, Dame is in the same boat? Put up great numbers and his team didn’t even sniff the play in.

I literally just posted stats and said that Westbrook wasn’t the only reason they made the play in. If you think that is a biased statement, I don’t know what to tell you.

At this point Wizards should keep Beal and then sign and trade Kuzma and Porzingis.

You think he's being 'disrespected' because people aren't super high on him.

You categorize him as a '30 point scorer' for doing it twice in his 10+ year career

A 3rd time, he's a very good player on an albatross contract. For me he's a 2nd option on a really good team and a 3rd option on a title team. That's not insulting or 'disrepecting'. Everyone can't be Jokic, Curry, LeBron, Giannis etc

Beal is a proven loser with a bad contract who can’t stay healthy. Sounds like a great addition!

This is a meaner way of saying the same thing I said, so I suppose I agree with you!

It’s not mean. It’s honest. The best Wiz record he’s seen is 2016-17 when he wasn’t even the alpha on the team. And now he’s 30 and always injured. He’d be a nice third wheel if he wasn’t on a max deal.

Lakers need to resign Reaves and add some players, but knowing lakers they will trade for big name to appease Lebron and implode next year, because of injuries thus ending the Lebron era. Lebron will go somewhere else and play with his son

Wondering if the Lakers can build on what they had this past season?
Have to say that their postseason performance surprised me, being swept at WCF or not. Didn't expect them to make this far to begin with.

hopefully they have a healthy season, get better seeding and dont have to play the 1 and 2 seeds and the defending champs. despite the heat taking a game off the nuggets the lakers played them closer overall.

Suns gotta be the faves now? No CP injury risk, 3 guys who can create and shoot, Beal at least an average defender when he tries.

I hope he balls out. If he is a certified loser, no way the Suns can be favorites, right???

All this just to have Rain Man shut you down again.

Jokic is a different animal... he plays chess while the other teams are playing checkers.

We'll blame the Monty Williams and DeAndre Ayton feud next year when they lose.

So... Wizards just gonna waive CP3 so the Lakers can scoop him up on the cheap?

Lillard has taken his team to the Conference Finals and actually has some Playoff scalps.

Beal does not. Lillard obviously above Beal in the pecking order of the League.

As we see now, Beal's value is incredibly low. That might be the worst return we've seen for a player that's been an All Star. Literally crums.

Thats ok. I will remember this when the Suns are in the WCF. Beal’s a loser though, so no way anyone should be scared of the Suns

Suns are in the same boat. Plenty of scoring but no grit or defense.

I really doubt anyone will be scared of them.
