No no no, we don't advise at all - other than people to have fun and collect what they enjoy. We invest our money in stuff: buy, hold, & sell. I thought it was a cute name. We're all just big kids looking for our treasures.

I don't know a ton about him. WRs are one of the last things I typically look to buy or collect. There's a big time flavor of the month there with that position.
That being said; if healthy, he's in about as good a situation as a WR can be in, right? One of the things that's really interesting (and smart) with Andy Reid is that he will find a way to give guys a chance if they can do something to benefit the team. If Ross is dangerous, Reid will make sure he gets the ball and will probably find that out and do so early. I think that's a unique situation around the league for a coach to be like that. |

I love the card industry as a whole. It adds a really unique element to being a sports fan.... but you're right. There are some real oddball decisions people make with their money with this stuff. During the boom a guy posted in a FB group that he bought a CeeDee Lamb RPA PSA 9 (I cannot recall which exact one) and then... after he bought it... wanted to know if it was a good investment. I think he gave, like, $2,500 for it or $1,800... Something where you would have wanted to move the decimal on it today for it to be a good deal. Anyway, I didn't want to crush his dreams of buying a Porsche with it (or whatever) some day, so I just commented that I hoped he was a Cowboys fan and that he had a sweet Miles Austin, Cole Beasley, or Amari Cooper to set that thing next to that could really set it off. Ha! |

I'm not going to flat out 100% predict these, but here are some "out there" things that I do think are more realistically possible than most would.
1) The Lions to the Super Bowl. Why? Four reasons. One, the NFC is bad and they might legit be the fourth best team. Two, the thing that is really obvious in the NFL during the preseason rarely plays out. In this case that is my Niners and the Eagles have a NFC championship game rematch. Odds are much higher one of the two favorites won't actually be there. Three, consensus would probably put Dallas there in the absence of Philly or San Fran, but two words to counter that: Mike and McCarthy. Four, individual football games are pretty random. If the Lions are in the NFC title game, they can win it. 2) The Bengals miss the playoffs. How? Well, I legit think the AFC East is getting three teams in the playoffs. Everyone but the Pats feel like a lock to me. That wouldn't matter if the Bengals won the NFC North, but the Ravens still have their defense, they are going to run a modern football offense for the first time literally ever, and the jump in their receiver room from... uh... **checks notes** ...Demarcus Robinson and Devin Duvernay to a deep group of Odell Beckham, Rashod Bateman (returning from injury), Zay Flowers, and Nelson Agholor is the single biggest positional group improvement of the offseason even without a true number one in it given how bad the room was last season. Head to head the Ravens were better than the Bengals last year too. They beat them with Lamar and were a fluke goalline fumble away from beating them without him. If Lamar actually stays healthy and the Ravens win the North, and it feels 50/50 to me, the Bengals may be competing with the Chargers, Titans, Patriots, and the inevitable random team no one expects to be good for that last spot. I'd favor Cinci, except about five months ago I suffered a minor calf tear. I've not even tried to jog once since and it won't fully heal. Just living a normal life walking, carrying the kids around, mowing the lawn, etc is too much. My personal experience with a even a minor calf tear makes me very skeptical we are getting a normal Burrow throughout this season. 3) The much disrespected 2022 QB class delivers. Biased as hell here, but Purdy looked like exactly what we needed with his Jimmy G ability to just run the offense without the Jimmy G panicked madness when something goes wrong. I really trust the staff in Pittsburgh and thought Pickett was coming along at the end of the year. Ridder just needs to be a game manager in Atlanta to succeed. With the young talent around him and that #@#@#@#@ division, they will coast to the playoffs if he is just fine. Howell has a good cast around him too, a very underrated one I think. Jahan Dotson is going to prove that he is the best receiver on that team this year, McLaurin is a heck of a two, and how many teams can trot out a better third receiver than Curtis Samuel? Howell might really put up some numbers with his arm and mobility. Skylar Thompson will beat out Mike White for the backup job in Miami too and he will always be one play away from extended time with Hill and Waddle. Even if I am wrong on that actual prediction, if Mike White sees extended time he will just get hurt too. You really think Mike McDaniel can't figure Thompson out if needed? Despite his #@#@#@#@ numbers, he looked pretty good in that playoff game. The receivers failed him instead of the expected other way around. 4) The Commanders finish second in the NFC East. Hold on now, what? Well you just saw me praise the passing game. Add a belief in the further emergence of Brian Robinson out of the backfield and you've got a pretty complete offense potentially if Howell holds it together. Did you know that the Commanders low key had a borderline top five defense in the NFL last year? Sorry Giants fans, but you are not a threat. That was a shaky run that they don't have the talent to repeat. The Eagles are going to be great again, but Dallas still is a Mike McCarthy coached team and now he is taking over the offense right as the cracks in Dak's game were really starting to show through? No thanks. 5) Kyler Murray won't play a snap. This is the one that feels least probable, but the Cardinals are in an interesting position. They need to not play Kyler Murray so that they lose as many games as possible and they line themselves up for Caleb Williams. At the same time they need to play Kyler Murray to prove his health, remind teams of his potential, and bolster his trade market. The incentives are not properly aligned here. I really think there is not only a chance that they go all in on Caleb and shelve Kyler completely, but that it is also 100% the right move given what I saw out of the USC product last year. |

here's mine:
1- Miami wins the AFC East 2- 3 teams from the AFC East make the playoffs (Miami, Buffalo, NY) 3- Garoppolo stays healthy, Raiders make the playoffs 4- 49ers beat Philly in the NFC Championship game 5- 49ers vs Bengals for the Super Bowl
