This is the last year I bought Heritage. Just too much of a PITA to complete a master set with all the doubles of inserts and SPs.

I never understand why people that have given up on Heritage or don’t like it take the time to come in a thread about 2024 Heritage and crap on it. Let those who enjoy it just enjoy it and discuss it. If you’ve moved on, that’s your prerogative. But just move on.

Because they secretly like the product. Like myself. I crap all over series 1,2 and update and yet I gotta grab a blaster or two.

And it's now entering a sweet spot with a lot of great late 70's/early 80's designs.

The worst designs over the next ten years are probably 1979 and 1982, and neither of them are horrible.

I own 0 heritage cards currently and I still love reading these threads and looking at the new years cards and seeing what everyone is doing with it and learning about the parallels.

As someone coming back into the hobby after a multi decade hiatus, I love collecting Heritage Real One rookie autos vs Bowman 1st autos. I've gone deep on the 22 and 23 classes.

While I fully understand the value will never be as high with Heritage. the entry price is much easier to swallow, even on the big name prospects / emerging superstars.

Edit to add - I know everyone loves Elly but I'm more looking forward to snagging a CES rookie auto out of Heritage.

Heritage has always been great at release.

Hitting the 70s did hurt a bit .. but always a great seller

But 75 is going to be amazing .. can’t wait

Sigh, I'm guessing Topps will crank the presses up even more knowing how popular this set is.

This set won't be any more popular than recent Heritage. You'll see boxes extremely cheap and available for ages. Singles will be cheap as usual too.

The usual suspects will do well...the Throwbacks, Red Ink Autos, black and gold refractors, etc.

No one is taking a crap in it. I usually get 2-3 cases each year and the product has gone downhill every year starting with 2019 imo. I broke like 2 boxes of 2023 regular and 1 box of high and was not impressed. This product is watered down and 2024 will be even worse than 2023. At some point you have to realize this product isn't what it use to be and just stop busting it.

Yep those are the only pieces of Heritage that have held up while the rest of the brand has been declining heavily the last few years

I’m not sure what that means. The cards look great. They end up in binders with the rest of the sets. They seem to be holding up just fine. Complete the set and get ready for the next one!

It means the ROA Reds, Black and Gold Refractors have held their value well despite big Heritage's decline in value relative to other sets over the last few years.

Who collects Heritage for value? If you are doing that, then you are doing it wrong.

No one under 40 really collects Heritage at all, that's why it's been declining in value so hard. I've been saying for years it will only get worse with the exceptions of those named cards

Well good thing each release is based on a 50 year old product and that there are new 40 year olds popping up every day.

-ROA's are not lava'd, waved, speckled, or otherwise bedazzled.
-Outside of retail, the same goes for Heritage Chrome. Retail is really easy to avoid
-I collect image variations, and appreciate the consistency in the Heritage image/actions, while flagship now changes year to year
-I am not a relic person, but Heritage relics are the best low end relics
-I have pulled some underwhelming superfractors, but would be elated to pull any throwback

I don't know why the dude who loves to laugh at his own comments about magenta speckled refractors is choosing to attack Heritage, but anyone who has to remind you what they've been saying for years probably isn't saying anything noteworthy anyway.
