Base levels Wemby will probably go for $1k+. Nice little retail chase card.

Huh? He didn't say anything about on card autos. He said "looks". And it looks exactly like Revolutions always looks (which is spectacular imo). But, yes, you're right about on card autos vs sticker autos. Sticker autos are an abomination that needed to go away ages ago.

I was making a joke since Panini seems to have improved Rev this year (brought back some on card autos, loaded retail, etc) while still keeping a similar look (aside from the 2020 abomination).

Ahh my bad, I misunderstood your post lol. But yeah the return of on card autos is huge! Revolution is one of my favorite sets and criminally underrated imo.

I bought another box. See if better odds getting a Wemby. Not much more than blaster prices so seemed like a reasonable ask.

On Card Autos are a +

The rest of it looks not great.

Worse designs than previous seasons. People just liking it because Wemby gives you a return.

Supernova and ShockWave designs are laughable.

With endless possibilities for design, this is a joke.

I think you are onto something. The design makes me queazy, like too much screen time.

No it doesn't

Go back year to year.

15/16, 16/17 and 18/19 are especially great.

Then its pretty patchy.

Now it's just pretty trash to be fair.

Idk, I like the bases this year more than the last couple of years, though they do look a bit too much like 2018 and 2019 mashed up to me for vets.

Supernova is ugly, shockwave looks a lot better than the past several years. Votex is still boring. Liftoff I don't feel like they have done a good one in a long while.

Mixed bag but there are some I like.

The impact parallels look so nice. Knock off Kaboom for guys who don't have them. Bought the SGA and Chet jersey numbered for 1% of what a kaboom would sell for

Impact existed before Kaboom had the pattern. Therefore Kaboom uses the impact background, not the other way around. Main reason why I won't pay stupid prices for newer Kabooms.

Chinese New Year version dropping on Panini's website at $60 a box.

Anyone picking up at this price to chase Wemby /88 parallel?

I think maybe it's one auto per case if you're lucky.

I may try to snag a box. I held off buying a hobby box at a show a couple weekends back (they had it for $170 when it was ~$220 on BO) and I'm happy I did.

Sold out in four minutes?

Botted to death.

Can’t wait for Panini to be gone.

Just quit the charade of selling direct. Give it all to the stores.

Yep sold out very quickly.

Tried to buy a case since I haven't opened anything in a while. Thought it would be a cheap rip and couldn't get checked out, it was gone.

I'm starting to lose more and more interest in the hobby and I've been pretty active in it since I was in middle school about 20 years ago.

Same.

The funny thing is Revolution hobby keeps dropping so this Asia edition isn’t even that good.

but the price is right. Buying a case will net you a $100+. That's all they care about

But then the flip bois buy it all up and sell it for a 50-100% markup on the secondary markets. There's got to be a better solution than the one we have now though, I agree.

There are multiple but Panini has proven time and time again they don't care. More often than not the way they sell product makes Panini the company the least amount of profit of any realistic route of selling product.

Buy some blasters, they are probably better anyway comparing same money spent on each. I was going to get some myself, the price does seem appealing at first glance but like someone said hobby is already dropping (in part due to intro of retail/retail actually being good) and you aren't guaranteed an auto in hobby so I can imagine the odds for CNY at $60. You do get a nice amount of CNY parallels at 12, but past the initial price hype and people who will just keep their BIN high for it being Wemby, there isn't really anything that crazy in here and I personally decided to just look for blasters.....plus its Panini they could randomly drop a mega in a few weeks with 10 "Astro-physicist" parallels that will be like a lite version of this and cheaper.

I liked Revolution from the beginning and the Impact variations, especially from 2018, are nice, but like with other sports, hobby people just do not embrace this product for significant increases in price. In basketball, it is all about Prizm and the variations.

The case hit retail levels base Wemby /35 has been lowered on eBay 3 times already. Revolution may look cool but there’s no huge chase.
