Agreed, I would totally support a rule change where, if you get thrown 4 straight balls, you get two bases instead of one.

Currently 6th in OPS, 7th in RBI’s, 7th in HR’s and 36th in batting avg at .294. What else do you want from the kid? He should be an allstar starter.

He's largely flown under the radar this year with all the attention Skenes, Ohtani, and Judge have been getting.

That said, as is the case with many hot young players, teams are now developing detailed scouting reports on him and starting to target his weaknesses.

The million-dollar question is whether or not he will be able to adjust....if he does, he could become the next Aaron Judge....if he doesn't, he could become the next Luis Robert.

Think you’re getting a little ahead of yourself, Wood not getting attention because of Judge and Ohtani is absolutely hilarious, if you are good enough the attention will find you. The comparison to Robert is a bit off as I don’t hope he will endure a lot of minor injuries and playing for a shite organization like the White Sox. Lastly I’m seeing Wood more as future DH than a daily position player so the focus will be on offense alone.
