Probably as quiet as it's been? It's June 10th, your team is a dumpster fire going no where with no draft picks and no stars/semi stars around. If Giannis is cool winning 40-44 games and losing in the first round every season for the remainder of his time as an elite player, good for him! He won his title, his legacy is in great position. That would be a stark contrast to what we see in the NBA, I get why guys like you are so sensitive, your team traded everything and trading Giannis is a path to no where. Either way your team is going no where though. Something tells me if he opens the season with Milwaukee and the team is the dumpster fire that is to be expected his tune will start changing like it has in the past.

As quiet as Buck’s home games for the foreseeable future.

Has something changed?

Has he released a statement saying he unequivocally is staying no matter what?

I guess this is what Bucks fans are clinging onto? https://x.com/LegionHoops/status/1932436460726358371

They feel like if they yell loud enough they can manifest things one way or another. I don't know that I've ever seen a fanbase cling to one player so hard to the ruin of all else. The Bucks are never seriously contending again the next half a decade barring drafting another Giannis in draft garbage time if they don't find some way of getting more cap space to rebuild around him. "You always have a chance to win it all with Giannis" they will tell you as if making the first round or the play-in is all you need and he can just carry a bunch of bums to a championship. This roster isn't capable of winning another ring barring the black death sweeping through the rest of the league. So what options do they really have unless the cap increase is so large they can suddenly lure a star FA there.

Giannis' tune started changing in the past?

Once again, totally different discussion if he or the Bucks are making the right choice by him staying a Buck. Point is, he is staying.

We can come back to this thread on September 10th, November 10th, February 10th and he will still be a Buck.

For one, he needs to build back credibility with the fossil fuels industry after that advertising fiasco. They were expecting to be playing those spots well to August.

Bucks probably shouldn't have posted a photo of him holding up a Bucks jersey since they want to trade him or Giannis should have just chosen to hold up his Greek jersey seeing how we doesn't want to be a Buck anymore.

You never responded to this question in the other thread, but would you rather actually compete or keep Giannis if it meant him wasting what's left of his prime on play in teams? Obviously nobody knows the future but if you were handed one of those two options you'd still choose the latter?

Bring back that old coach and build up the squad. Have a two-coach format, cause Doc is cool. And anyway, you have Thannis.

I'm of the belief that the Bucks can still compete with Giannis. Nothing is a given though. Trade Giannis for players and picks and maybe none of those players ever hit, especially at the odds of anyone being as good or better than Giannis.

I'll take the Bucks being bad with Giannis over the Bucks being bad without Giannis. Because you'll be in the same place regardless once Giannis retires.

I can see one's opinion being different when you are just a fan of a particular player and not a team. But hell, I have an Ersan Ilyasova set of bed sheets, and I never rooted for the Pistons or Hawks when he was on those teams.

What is your definition of compete?

Don't think any of the teams in the East as it stands right now are some unbeatable juggernaut. There are a lot of teams in the East at the same level as the Bucks

Are the Tatum-less Celtics going to compete?

Nope, the Celtics aren't. So what is your definition?

In a way, I agree with you.

What has a better chance of happening:

-Giannis' getting to the Finals with the Bucks or getting to the Finals with a Western Conference team (excluding the Thunder)?

When did Giannis previously want to move on from the Bucks?

Before the Jrue trade there were plenty of reports about his displeasure with the organization (he also wouldn't sign an extension to that point). Before the Dame deal it was a fairly similar deal.

Now are you going to answer the question or play games?

Brook Lopez, Gary Trent and Bobby Portis are probably all gone.
Giannis is gonna be so frustrated next year that he's gonna create a toxic environment. (Even if he doesn't say with his own words that he wanted to be traded)
His body language, tension with teammates, or subtle jabs in the media could will show he’s checked out emotionally.

The East is gonna be way more competitive next year. Toronto will have Ingram, Sixers will be fully healthy, Miami seems they will do a high risk high reward trade at some point.

The Celtics are still the Celtics. Maybe not a 2nd seed but they had a better record without Tatum. Maybe 5-8seed.

I don't see the bucks making the playoffs unless they win the play-in.

1. Cavs
2. knicks
3. Indiana
4. 76ers
5. Orlando
6. Boston
7. Detroit
8. Miami
9. bucks
10. Toronto
11. Bulls
12. Hawks

Again, it's June 9th, before you make yourself look dumb pump the breaks a tad.
LOL when do I go away when I am wrong?

But don't worry just take your L now like you always do since Giannis is not leaving at least not this season.

Portis likely staying. Chance Trent does also. Lopez gone but he's done he can hardly move anymore and at best is a backup center chasing a ring.

I'd bet the house on the 76ers not being healthy. Embiid might as well be dead.

All the time in the Wrestling thread for sure, you deflect, ignore/go away. Remember how it took 60 times to get you to answer a basic Jey Uso question?

Seems to be a trend with Bucks fans! Look, I get it. You guys are emotionally invested as you should be! But your team is going to be a dumpster fire, the odds are no where in your favor that Giannis is or going to want to stick around for it.
