Say whatever you want about Hulk Hogan, but to trust the word or take words as gospel from Linda Hogan is insane.

Feel however you want, I wasn't a crazy Hogan fan, but to just crap on him when he dies is just bad taste to me. For whatever moral issues he had/think he had, he did so many great things for so many people, how about just paying respect for a day. Gosh.

There was one poster on X yesterday that said:

It's ok to mourn the loss of Hulk Hogan the character and what he meant to your childhood while NOT mourning the loss of Terry Bollea the man...

I think a lot of people are having a difficult time separating the two...

Smackdown will be having a large tribute to Hulk Hogan tonight bringing in former stars or having them film something to honor Hulk Hogan.

Interesting,

He apologized after the comments in an interview, said he wished he could take it back, and said it was the biggest mistake of his life (and he has had many mistakes, he was a deeply flawed human)

His wife on X:

Quote:

I wasn’t ready for this…
and my heart is in pieces.

He had been dealing with some health issues, but I truly believed we would overcome them. I had so much faith in his strength. I thought we still had more time.

This loss is sudden and impossible to process. To the world, he was a legend… but to me, he was my Terry. The man I loved. My partner. My heart.

Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him.

He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home.

Please keep his family and all of us who loved him in your prayers as we try to navigate this new reality.

So many disgusting people saying the hope Hogan is in hell. But seems this is a small portion of the unhinged IWC who will attack anyone. Everyone it seems who worked in the business seems to be giving Hogan his props even if they personally disliked him personally. Even Mark Henry who did not like Hogan gave him his due.

Unless a person is a murderer or a rapist there is no need to talk bad about person after they die.

Though 99% of these people are keyboard warriors that if confronted in person with what they are saying and making death threats to people would piss their pants if a guy like Matt Cardona got in their face over making threats to his wife.

Was never a fan of Hogan during his heyday but whether you loved him or hated him for whatever reason, the state of pro wrestling would not be where it is today without him.

RIP Hulkster

Let people feel how they feel. It goes both ways. Why is it ruining your day? You make outlandish comments all the time, you are definitely part of an unhinged IWC. Relax dude.

LOL yeah you can pretend I am part of unhinged IWC. I am not a crazies like the people who are proud to say they are the IWC. Outlandish comments? Saying Jay Uso is a catch phrase is not outlandish when it's true.

Sounds like you are talking about a lot of WR's in the NFL.

Of course this woman put out a statement already. How much time did you think you had marrying someone twice your age when you’re already in your 40’s? No disrespect to Hulk but she completed her mission, be the one he’s with when he passes now she’ll be spending the money and probably publically or private have someone new by next year. It goes both ways I guess guys get the “hot younger woman” but I never get how these aging celebs even Flair don’t realize what these women’s end goal is. Without even seeing it I guarantee Sky is a big chunk of the will, these women aren’t there otherwise

lol@the emasculated virtue signallers in this thread. Just lol@the "terrible human being" notion, as if he were a murderer or rapist. You know damn well that all of these "terrible human being" personas ITT have 500 skeletons in the closet - it's almost always the same story.

RIP Hulk

The locker room that showed on RAW tonight was interesting.

I want to note that I’m not at all defending Hogans actions. Only pointing out two things…that some of the people who could be most affected by the negative actions he took came out to recognize his passing….and as another poster above me not so eloquently posted, a lot of the criticism has way more to do with those criticizing thats he does to do with Hogan.

I haven't been on in weeks.

Absolutely devestated by Hulk's passing. He was a childhood hero and the reason I started watching wrestling back around wrestlemania 1. So glad I got to see him with my dad VS Earthquake back in the early 90's.

It really is sickening seeing people say negative things about him. They act as if they have never made mistakes in life. Hulk has addressed and apoplogized for his past and detailed how he was at low points in his life. Those who aren't willing to forgive and remember him for the good he did are lost souls.

Hulk put smiles on MILLIONS of faces. He was a cultural icon and real life superhero to kids around the world. There won't be another.

It's unfortunate that so many are using his passing as a time to bring up any and all the negative things Hulk did in his lifetime. Let's not forget the good things he did away from the ring;
  • Visited terminally ill children through Make-A-Wish, granting over 200 wishes, including personal meet-and-greets.
  • Donated to Hurricane Katrina relief, aiding New Orleans recovery efforts in 2005.
  • Supported pediatric cancer patients at All Children's Hospital in Florida with regular visits.
  • Funded scholarships for underprivileged youth in Clearwater, Florida, focusing on education access.
  • Visited troops in Iraq through USO tours, boosting morale with personal interactions.
  • Contributed to Boys & Girls Clubs, mentoring at-risk youth in Tampa Bay.
  • Hosted charity fishing tournaments to raise funds for local Florida charities.
  • Paid medical bills for a young fan injured in a car accident in 1990s.
  • Supported Special Olympics, participating in events to promote inclusion.
  • Donated to rebuild community centers damaged by Florida hurricanes.
  • Visited children’s hospitals, like St. Jude, reading stories and signing autographs.
  • Funded youth wrestling programs to promote fitness and discipline.
  • Helped a homeless shelter in Tampa with food and clothing donations.
  • Sponsored families during holidays, providing gifts and meals through local charities.
  • Supported animal rescue shelters, adopting and promoting pet adoptions.
  • Visited schools to speak on anti-bullying, sharing personal experiences.
  • Donated to veterans’ charities, supporting wounded warriors’ rehabilitation.
  • Organized community clean-up events in Clearwater post-hurricanes.
  • Provided gym equipment to underfunded schools for youth fitness programs.
  • Supported Make-A-Wish kids by inviting them to wrestling events as VIPs.
  • Helped fund a local youth center’s renovation in Florida.
  • Visited burn victims at Shriners Hospitals, offering encouragement.
  • Donated to food banks in Tampa during Thanksgiving for years.
  • Supported disaster relief for 2010 Haiti earthquake through donations.
  • Mentored teens in foster care, offering guidance and support.
  • Funded sports equipment for low-income school districts.
  • Visited pediatric wards, spending time with kids battling leukemia.
  • Supported autism awareness by participating in charity walks.
  • Donated to rebuild a church destroyed by fire in his hometown.
  • Helped a family rebuild their home after a fire in Clearwater.
  • Sponsored youth summer camps for underprivileged kids.
  • Visited elderly in nursing homes, sharing stories and gifts.
  • Contributed to clean water initiatives for local communities.
  • Supported literacy programs, donating books to school libraries.
  • Helped fund medical research for childhood diseases.
  • Participated in charity golf tournaments for cancer research.
  • Donated to animal welfare groups, focusing on no-kill shelters.
  • Visited fans in hospice care, fulfilling final wishes.
  • Supported community fitness programs for disadvantaged youth.

Linda Hogan, Hulk Hogan's first wife, accused him of domestic violence in her 2011 memoir, "Wrestling the Hulk: My Life Against the Ropes". She claimed he had a violent temper that could become physically abusive during arguments. She detailed instances where he allegedly "tore my shirt, threw lamps, and held me down on the bed with his hands around my throat during arguments, slamming doors, pounding walls," adding that she "was always afraid he would kill me in one of his rages". Linda also stated that she believes prescription drugs played a role in Hulk's anger issues, citing a constant flow of pain pills, anti-inflammatories, and steroids. She explained that she didn't come forward sooner because she feared it would damage his career and negatively impact their children.

More recently, in March 2025, Hulk Hogan's daughter, Brooke Hogan, made a social media post alleging that she had been a victim of "extreme verbal and mental abuse since childhood" and that it "frequently turn physical". Linda Hogan responded to these claims, denying that she treated Brooke in the way she described and calling Brooke a "narcissist just like her dad". Brooke clarified that her statements were not directed at either parent individually and that she has gone no contact with both for separate reasons based on how they each dealt with her throughout her life. Hulk Hogan did not directly address Brooke's allegations publicly, instead posting a video with his new wife, which some interpreted as a response to the ongoing family drama.
Let me make sure I’m understanding this correctly. We’re supposed to believe every word Linda said in her accusation against Hulk, but we’re *not* supposed to believe a word of what Brooke said in her accusation against Linda?
