Gervonta Davis is with PBC, so I'm curious whether the reason for the card to be revoked was down to Al Haymon not allowing the license to be used for PBC fighters?

Also: given how fast they were sold out, does this suggest the Topps Chrome Boxing run was limited and had a rather low production print?

Wait, I believe Topps stated they will be up for sale on September the 5th, according to an individual to make an enquire about them selling out rather quickly.

Yes. But, like every other popular preorder in the past, they will skyrocket the retail price on the second release because this is how they operate when they see a preorder selling for 2.5x retail. And hell, they may even backdoor everything else and throw scraps to the main release on EQL.

Always assume the worst will happen with anything Fanatics related.

Haha didn't sell out so quick but had it's usual in-and-out of stock (and checkout) issues so success rate was low.

Released on all of the Topps international sites. And if history repeats itself, that will be the only release on the international sites.

If it's running normally you can get a checkout with Topps and Shopify in 5-10 seconds. More manual users would get an order if the product was only in stock for 30 seconds versus going in and out of stock for an hour.

I don't think it's a bad price, probably close to (or at) the floor currently.

If I didn't secure one for $2400 shipped, I might've considered one at $2700 (or just picked up a couple loose boxes in the $200-$225 per range and called it a day).

For what it's worth, you're unlikely to get one via Topps.com, and once released and product starts getting ripped, you'll see increased demand for the product and some uptrending in price.

After Fanatics saw how popular the preorder was, Fanatics will do all of these things for the main release: jack up the retail price, lower the quantity available to the public, backdoor more directly to breakers.

This isn't an opinion, sadly. This is what they do.

Wowsers I just hope the prices for the main release aren't too much compared to the pre-sale Also do you think Moses Itauma will have a card? Queensbury fighters weren't mentioned in the official released statement, though ~

As mentioned, I was burned on this once. I only knew because I had other cases that were the same product and knew the weight was off. Want to point out that I just had this happen on dealernet... got a "case" that was clearly sliced and discretely taped over.

In addition to what Bob Ross shared, Topps just doesn’t make many cases available to the general public (not to mention, increased demand from non-traditional hobbyists).

Always concerns when buying a case from a sneakerhead or hobby newbie. They don’t always understand the importance of a factory seal (at least to those buying sealed cases).

I mean, I remember buying the Topps Now Tyson Fury cards in 2020, and the print run was based on those who purchased it, which ultimately was around 112 -- I'm guessing Topps is completely different now?
