The best way to tell if a pair of Jordans has not been worn that much is if the full jumpman symbol can still be seen on the insole of the shoes. It normally starts to wear off after being worn a few times.

I was completely being a smart ass. I apologize. I clean out old stock rooms frequently. There's usually at least one pair of Jordan's from the 90's in there. You can see some of my hauls in the basketball thread.

Most Goodwill stores are required to put out 2k and 3k new pieces each day. Some of this has sold, some is still available. If you guys are on Instagram you can find us @ca2illvintage. We've got a great customer base, great feedback and even have a few celebrity customers. Enjoy folks! The Coach jacket is late 80's men's, bought last week for $1.

Nice finds. I had that Celtics shirt as a kid. I'm pretty sure it was a giveaway by the Mass Lottery.

Which? I think both sold in the $30-40 range. Nothing special. I've obly posted my sports related pickups. I don't think people on here wanna see Versace, Tupac shirts and old Polo. That's where the real money is. Sports stuff is more plentiful and a super easy flip! Appreciate the kind words.

Yeah, vintage games I think are a good investment right now. Here's a good example:

Back around 1999-2000 I bought Earthbound in a used game shop for around $20-$25. The game goes for almost $200 (just the cart) now despite the fact it is available on the Wii U virtual console for like $8.

It's the nature of collectors. When the system first gets replaced, nobody wants it. Then after a decade or so, people want to re-experience (is that a word?) exactly what they had. You want the original cart on the original system.

I would much rather play dune on the Sega Genesis than on Dune 2000 (PC) which was almost an exact port. It wasn't the same.

Honestly I wouldn't mind seeing everyone's pick ups of any kind not only sports related.

Quick question -- How long did it take for you guys doing it to have people coming to you wanting you to buy stuff from them?

I sold stuff on ebay for 2 years & people started coming out of the woodwork with stuff they wanted me to sell. Picked up a lot of nice consignments/purchases from this.

Word of mouth gets around like crazy. Once people start knowing you are buying a lot...they start coming to you.

I've been selling through eBay for a long time but I do mainly Instagram now. Hash tags help me sell my items quickly and efficiently. Just in the last few months we have expanded a great deal. Selling at the Rose Bowl and any place we can really. We got our first 'celebrity' customer this week, Marsha Ambrosius, who purchased a crap load of our basketball stuff. Her list of appearances is rather impressive and she can give us publicity we could never dream of.

Here are a few of my pickups from yesterday. First 2 are tee shirts, a Starter jacket, and a vintage watch.

I will try and post some more later.

I sold a jordan jersey exactly like yours for almost $100 near Christmas. You'll do real well with that. Nice find!

I honestly love looking at these Thrift Shop threads. It makes me want to go out there and see what sick retro tees and jackets I can find...and possibly keep for myself I have a thing for retro clothes of sports squads!

I saw one or two recent sales. I think I have to BIN/BO, since there aren't a ton of them I don't know if an auction would do too well. If anyone can tell me the model or term for the shoes I'd appreciate it. I saw rugrats and phoenix suns as descriptions for similar shoes.

This jersey was released with the Jordan VII. I've also got the matching t and windbreaker.

I didn't know about this thread, I go thrifting all the time. Actually just went this morning! My goal is to just make $ on everything no matter how much. I haven't ever really hit something huge but I usually double up. Ill post some pics of my haul this morning. I spent $75 on about 30 items and Ill probably flip it for $400-500

***I usually just sell the stuff I find to friends, and at flea market etc. but I hate doing that. What is the best way to ship shirts/jackets? And most cost effective way/ how much do you charge?

Is the best way just to ship in the flat rate envelopes?

*updated with this mornings haul, someone grabbed everything with a team logo pretty much. I was lucky enough to catch an employee putting some new stuff out. Today I targeted higher end name brand clothing.

Found a lot of ralph Lauren shirts, saks fifth avenue stuff, and some Columbia jackets.

The fsu shirt still have tags on it

And then I have two sleeper picks,

First one is a QB red shirt practice jersey, anyone have any info on these?

And this thing is sweet, im guessing from the 80's/early 90's, umpires jacket.

All in all a good morning. The sting shirt is cool and should go for $10-15, the Harley shirt is from 1991-92 and im guessing it will go for $25-30.
