I went hunting in my shoe boxes yesterday, and only found 1st Bowman base paper + yellow paper.
No chrome love for me.
But still crazy to see that even the yellow paper sells for $30-40.

What a physical specimen he is. Reminds me of Cecil Fielder. I fully expect Vlad to lead the league in steals this year.

This guy is going to be a full-time DH in like 2 years.

There's nothing wrong with that, but it's hard to justify his card prices right now.

yes, but weight has nothing to do with the stupidity of his minor league card pricing lol

If Vlad Jr fails, which of course I don't want to see despite the fact that I am holding zero cards of his, it's going to be a bloodbath. A mass exodus of prospectors of Biblical proportions from this hobby/business.

His cards are priced as if he's the next Trout. It's hard to envision him reaching that ceiling if he's primarily a DH. That's my point.

Why can't they be more obvious with mystery redemptions? "You'll be Vlad whoops I mean glad, when you find out the mystery redemption"

Haven't prospects failed time in and time out but people still stay?

Well yeah of course, but most sell periodically in increments. It seems that most are holding Vlad even through the ridiculous value increases. If they try to unload at the same time, whether through panic or a desire to move on, a seismic crash is going to occur.

My pug had idiopathic hemolytic anemia, and I had to pay for multiple blood transfusions and chemo meds. He died before the card was received.

Thanks for asking.

C'mon, don't believe everything that you see. I'm looking at his baseball card and it clearly says 6'1" and 210 lbs.
