ive tried multiple but basically given up. i don't have time to drive to all of them and the unpredictable hurts my want to go

Been checking my Target daily the past 4 or 5 days. Today I asked for them to check the dpci and was told it didn't sell and wasn't in. I showed an employee a picture and told him the approximate size and he checked the back to no avail. Either my target never got them or the employee sucks at checking things.

It really feels like a waste of time. Especially since my area can get things up to two weeks late, yet my main Target that has never gotten anything early in 10 years somehow got them a few days early. Breaking product has become pretty depressing. Starts off too high online now and the retail chase stinks.

Brought pics, gave DPCI....2 worked out perfect, brought out full display. 1 didn't care at all, no effort....and the last one said he looked up and down the warehouse, nothing there. 4 more later this afternoon.

Was he able to find them when you gave him the DPCI? I wasn't sure if that would be effective since there have been conflicting reports.

DPCI showed in stock at store but didn’t tell her “where to look”. My initial thought was “no s/;&, that’s why you go look. I gave her all the important info shared in this thread and she Looked at me like I had two heads. I was friendly, polite, showed pics but all three employees I dealt with were awful. I’ve wasted enough time. Good luck yall

1 auto of an uninspiring pitcher
1 purple of a non-1st-year guy

Yes, it was "0"....I told him 'the manager told me' they are in the back and nothing has sold, that's why it's at zero....3 looked, 1 didn't care

All Targets in the Raleigh/Durham area are sold out. Just hit 5 during my long lunch break and all had 0 in stock but 30 had sold when they checked historical data. Oh well, just like last year where I struck out every time.

I'm done... checked sports, toys, cards, no empty end caps, nothing. Would not surprise me if back doored or I'm simply late.

I've got my 8 boxes@2x cost incoming... I'll have to be satisfied with that.

I know people may not like this idea but I wish Topps would only have these as an online exclusive and limit the purchase per account. I know some ebay sellers have hundreds of these boxes and I imagine several boxes never made it to the retail floor.

I got 30 at one of the Durham stores. Also 1 in Greensboro and in Burlington.

I believe the Raleigh/Cary area was hit before I made it there on Sunday.

2 base autos (Thomas Hatch and Spencer Howard)
3 Ohtani paper
1 Ohtani ROY
1 green trending of Bo Bichette
1 image variation of Brendan McKay
4 purples of no one special

All in all, I'm not hating what I pulled. I'll try and get a few more if I can find them at cost.

Yup, hit before I got there. I've been checking since Monday but that was before I knew the DCPI lookup trick. So save yourself a drive if you live around this area!

I agree with the fact most never hit the floor...and I'm not ok with that...whether it's them going out the back door...or people snagging them in the warehouse the store should not be selling until they are displayed. If you can not buy online or do a store inventory check online for the item then no one has any business going into the warehouse....just my opinion.

I finally found some west of Atlanta...six boxes sitting in the card isle, none in toy or sporting goods.
Pulled:
ROY Robles /99 auto....woohoo!
Green /99 Yusneil Diaz trending
Green /99 Pardinho
Purple /250 Avila, Luzardo, Hall, and Wright

Robles auto would almost pay for the boxes if I were to sell it.

Well there's obvious flaws in the system Reality is, someone on the inside.. whether topps or target - all it takes in one employee to see an opportunity for profit. The guy who runs the warehouse (or works there) might see it and buy it. I mean you really don't know. He takes 4/5 cases and respectively some stores never receive any. everyone wants profit, can't blame them
