I honestly didn't even think about it until I busted a few boxes!
New Gimmick:
For the cards that are now 'action shots' by default as a base card, create a 'standing still' variation.

Absolutely no clue, just recall pulling a couple refractors out of a box last year (1 in packs, the other with the exclusives

finally snagged a 20 card hanger pack

I found 9 portrait/posed cards & 5 live action cards. that feels like a way better ratio than most recent years.

posed cards are OK, even plain head shots are OK. but variety in all makes for a good set of baseball cards. I expect these sets will be improving year by year now.

(other 6 cards were multi-player Rookies, Leaders, or post-season cards)

Opened two boxes and didn't do too bad even though one was missing the hit. In the missing hit box I did hit a Lux action variation and then in the second box I hit a Pete Alonso nickel numbered 15/15. Not too bad.

Anyone pull a Walmart Blaster Tattoo yet? I pulled the Christian Yelich, but on the back it states Vladimir Guerrero Jr. This must be an error?

Im only averaging 1 1/2 SP per blasters, Some have 1 SP and some have 2 SP. Chrome are very hard to hit, have not hit a white, refractor, OPC, actions, or much of anything. Not even 1 alvarez/aquino base rookie yet from about 16 blasters. only 4 chrome . These were 8 from target and 8 from walmart.

Bring on my case of hobby.

Thank You.

Case in point, the Red Sox photos. Every year since...2015? 2014?...every photo is taken in front of that green fence/row of shrubs. I get that the posed shots are common based on the old release, but I'm just down on them. Love the actual design, but the photos are starting to wear on me.

Its just luck. Went looking for optic and they had none. Picked up 4 boxes from 2 different targets and pulled this. Was probably better than my lackluster case.

Anything ever come about with wonky serial #s of Topps baseball that means it could be a good box? I did this recently with series 2 hangers and one ended up having a yonder and lux. So I’m still open to the possibility of this conspiracy.

I'm a hobby box and two blasters deep into 2020 Heritage, and the best card so far has been an $8 white border. No Alvarez RC either...Heritage is such a cruel bitch sometimes

Ok there may be something to this. I don’t do much baseball but love ripping retail to bulk to cover it, but hit Walmart and target on the way home for a small Friday night rip and scouted weird serials...one blaster from target that ended in 00 and got this:

Picked up a blaster box at Target tonight. 2nd pack had an Acuna SP. I also got a JD Davis Chrome /571.

Going through the cards with the checklist, I also got 2 more short prints: Lorenzo Cain and German Marquez.

One hobby case yielded two buh autos (Anthony Kay, Logan Allen), and one variation rarer than an action (Bregman nickname)

Two blasters: Torres/Judge tattoo (the limited print run retail insert this year), one French (none in my case), Reggie Jackson blue auto

This hobby is so stupid
