I bet the ID team is thrilled they won't have to recognize so many of those pesky pre-1980 cards.

Has this been the case for most people? I know I sold more cards in the last weekend than I think I ever have before. I know that I had a special reason that it happened, but I have had cards flying out that have been sitting in my port for months. My sale is good, but not crazy great, but it has surpassed any other sale I have ever had by hundreds of dollars. I have even had some of those great eBay sales that have added up. I could not be happier with the flow coming in these last five days or so.

Current year is showing 3 weeks. The new system is already in place though.

Actually just refreshed my screen and it shows the old system as well you have to scroll down though to see it.

I've red some comments that this raise in price is to get rid of cheap trashy cards. Well I would say that this assumption is false because a some while back they decided to process every card they receive even the damaged ones.

They want our money? Sure why not but if we doesn't get back the simplest things like availability of the site 24/7 it's a bit ridiculous. This site is outdating every second and there could be a time where the cost of improvements becomes too expensive. And what then?

Here's a crazy question, what happens if COMC gets quarantined due to the coronavirus? Shut down for 14 days with no support/shipments? After all, they're in King county, which is where the latest virus bloom is.

At this point, I don't think there is much concern of this happening.

I live in Kirkland where the first stateside outbreak hit and, while there is certainly concern and many communications, there have been very limited disruptions. Kids schools are still running and businesses are open (though the shelves are empty for basically all cleaning products and wipes).

It could certainly turn on a dime at any moment and they (or any other business) could be in a position where one employee ended up infected. That happens and all bets are off.

I'm too lazy to read it but if there was a virus outbreak, it's probably listed in the TOS somewhere as to what would happen, like if processing times are paused due to "unforseen events".

if that happened, I'd much rather them shut down for a week than have somebody cough all over my cards

They will cough on your cards and charge you a fee to do so.

Good luck! I have been trying to buy cards yesterday, last night, today, and this evening, and my total purchases have been zero. It is hard to buy anything when the site is down.

Then put the cards in a special "bodily fluid damage" bucket - its happened before...

As long as no one at COMC gets sick, then there shouldn't be any concerns - some schools and businesses in this area are closing for a day or two, for deep cleaning purposes, with students taking online classes and employees working from home.

However, these cleaning services cost money and we all know that Upper Management doesn't like to spend money, especially when it comes to employee comforts like safe working environments or the like...

I've been trying to price cards for awhile now, but it's super slow. Now it's down for me as well.

Yes. It's down for me now.

I guess COMC will have to raise prices again.

4 year sales data is completely wiped out right now, so there is that.
