Into some 5xx section. ESPN kept panning out from the fans making it look lile half a mile.

Didi just said (on field interview) it was much further than 455.

And how about Didi! He'll need his own thread soon!

43 games left... so far 37 Home Runs..

needs 12 more to tie Mark Mcgwires HR Rookie Record... will he make it?

or will he fall just a couple short...

would be amazing if he did hit 50.. prices would be back up like the HR Derby

I think he can, especially if he gets in a rythem like Stanton. Couple of consecutive or multi-HR and bam. Once he ties and then breaks it, expect a huge spike in card prices. That will be the next best time to sell IMO.

I would love to see him break the record... just feel he won't, maybe 2-5 short? Total spit balling here.

As much as I want him to obliterate every ball he is thrown... my gut feeling says he will do 40-43 for the season. By all means, I hope he proves me wrong.

so far the Yankees have played 115 games and he hit 37... basically he is hitting 1 per 3.1 games

if we divide 3.1 per 43 games.. comes up to 13.8 Home Runs..

that would be on pace for 50-51

plus early in the season he had less At Bats as he was batting 7-8th.. so he has somewhat of a better shot with a couple of more At Bats..

Not trying to be a contrarian, he is also more tired and worn down now... so I think that negates the batting order... but I would be way happy of your math held up!

in a way thats true.. though he seems to be back on track (hopefully) so if from 51 we take out 3 for being tired and add 2 for more At Bats.. we can get to 50..

that would be being optimistic..

pessimistic I say he falls short at 45.. BUT LETS NOT THINK OF THAT OPTION

at the very least it will be very Entertaining... plus the Yankees battling for a playoff spot... must watch TV

Default Aaron Judge

Last game of the year, Judge is gonna be at 48 in his last bat of the regular season. Osuna in to close the game, throws a slider, Judge pounds it to centerfield, looks like it's going bye-bye, Pillar jumps as high as he can and makes a circus catch at the fence to rob him of HR #49.

It'll happen. McGwires record broken. Ball will get the blame. K record gets broken. Ump gets the blame. MLB will form a committee to consider implementing the umpire-less ball/strike call and get shot down.

They're probably accurate but I can't see how those homers are so short even with the height they're hit. They showed a home run hit in safeco that was like 20 rows lower than judges that was "measured" at like 15 feet further than Judges.

Exactly, obviously it's not trending that way in the second half but the math adds up and if you tack in a couple of multi HR games like I was saying. Viola!

He's going to break the record. He strikes me as very streaky. He's going to go on a tear in the final month.

I was watching ESPN when they were breaking down all the things wrong with his swing... and then he crushes the ball... pretty funny timing, even if it was a meatball pitch.

Maybe he is coming out of the slump... but dem K's... lordy
