Honestly this is one of 3 guys that break with platinum that deserved to hit this card. I've personally watched him spend well over 100k on breaks. I suspect he was doing it for the card not the money. Unfortunately this card may only ever change hands once in its lifetime if he sells it at all. If it were me - I'd keep it forever.

If he has $100k to spend on breaks, he doesn’t need to make $50k by selling it at $150k or even $200k.

Guess it is sort of a good thing I unloaded my Flawless FOTL box on Friday, not that the Luka would ever be in it.

That card looks beautiful but in general i've lost interest in Flawless. Not my cup of tea anymore. Every year looks the same, half the time the patches are upside down, secondary value is usually terrible compared to NT. For a cheaper cost i would personally choose to rip NT all day every day over Flawless

The logo looks plastic to me, the vet ones look authentic but these ones just look very fake to me. I don't think this is a 200 to 250,000 card but I think it could get that in this climate.

Because it’s an insert card. The RC logos are on his base diamond card.

He does it for all his auctions. I don’t understand what it accomplishes. I would be suspicious that whoever consigned the one to Probstein is bidding this one up.

There's one thing I learned from the baseball "buyer's club" shenanigans.

It doesn't matter how they jack up the price every minute of the auction until the last minute. If somebody wants that card, that's the price they have to pay.

They do their magic on cards with low pops, so this is no different.

91 Doncic Optic holo PSA 10s in the world. A lot more than 91 people who want one right now.

I've benefited from the buyers club pumping before (Trout 2011 Update) and been burned trying to accumulate cards they were pumping (86 Bonds Tiffany) before. I personally think it's messed up the way they can set the market pricing for a handful of cards by shilling ebay auctions, but like I said, if they shill it to $1500 and a legit bidder pays $1501, that's the new going rate.
