To compare a Panini Direct SKU with a retail 'exclusive' (of which there will be at least 3; Target, Walmart, Fanatics) is tilted.

Watch 1 more Mega SKU get announced. It's already diluted with 3. People who bought @ $35 are in better position but the size and weight of these Megas are going to cut into profit if people are solely intending on flipping.

Everything is going to sell regardless. But based off last year's I don't see how these are the go to retail SKU.

If you are buying to rip, you will do just fine. Cannot complain about getting a hot product at MSRP. If you are buying $10k worth of retail to flip or hold, good luck to you. Although as many have said, there’s no risk since you can just return it.

Why do people keep comparing previous years to Zion mania? I'll never know.

There's going to be increased production, no doubt about it. But there's also going to be a rise in demand and outside investment a magnitude of which the hobby market has never seen before.

I'll be here to stand by those words.

Immaculate Collegiate was pertinent. A lot of people saying no way it could be a profitable product, because 'all immaculate collegiate in previous years was a sinking time bomb.' Turns out that wasn't the case, was it.

No Judge-mania...Linsanity is more comparable...

Judge' market is mostly in the U.S.

Linsanity was worldwide....Zion mania will be worldwide.

Realistically how many people in europe and asia will be able to freely acquire 2019 prizm? I'm not asking that to be facetious, because I don't really understand the global distribution model.

Actually, I may end up busting some of my Megas the more I think about it. At least enough until I pull a good Zion to send in for grading. I've never graded anything before so probably worth it just to do that.

I'm busting at least half of my stuff, just because I really believe in the kid and even his base will be selling for astronomical levels. There's also quite a few other rookies in this class that aren't exactly hobby slouches at the moment.

Rui, Ja, RJ, Herro, Edwards, Garland, White, NAW...just off the top of my head.

Did I mention Bron's first Lakers prizm card?

Will that push prices down enough to make this stuff not as worth it or will people scoop them up and grade them?

Linsanity was crazy but nobody thought Jeremy Lin was the next Lebron. I agree, we haven't seen anything like Zionmania. It is a perfect storm of factors for a market explosion.
