Had grades pop over a week ago, still no shipping information. Are we seeing PSA taking forever to get them out after the order is complete?

So, cards have been in QA Check 2 for 9 days. It is an economy order of 23 cards. My 15 card economy order from the exact same date shipped nearly 2 weeks ago.

Even though this order didn't get to QA1 until after the other order shipped, I'm still at a loss as to why it takes nearly 9 days to simply look at some labels and cases so grades can be posted.

List "disappeared" last Monday 5/24. Nothing since then. Is this normal based on your experience(s)?

That's weird the list disappeared but still nothing yet. My order I just posted above went QA2 last Tuesday the 25th but list never disappeared and they popped this morning. Hopefully you'll hear something this week!

15 card Collector's club sub, received 9/24/20, entered 10/26/20, grades popped 5/26/21, shipped 5/28/21, somehow delivered on Memorial Day.

Eight of the 15 were mine; got five 10s, two 9s and one inexplicably didn't meet min grade. I know there's been talk about pop control and tougher grading, but despite the one reject, I was pleasantly surprised. One 10 I thought for sure was a 9 due to a surface issue and the two 9s I was expecting 8s. The reject I thought was a definite 9 with the possibility of a 10, so not sure why it didn't meet min grade 9.

Overall more good than bad, I was fearing the worst watching some of the recent live reveals on YouTube.

Does anyone know about how long modern bulk is taking in assembly ? Days? Weeks? Years? Lol

I’ve had orders recently go from assembly to shipped in 1 week (minimum) up to 3 weeks (maximum)... however there are folks that have gotten stuck for 1-2 months, mostly in QA2. I’d plan on 3 weeks for it to ship, and I wouldn’t adjust that timeline even if it gets to QA2 by the weekend, that’s were orders go to die for a few weeks.

I’m pretty sure it’s 1 order holding the CTD back, I just had 2 quarterly specials go from grading to assembly and then QA1 overnight, and they were entered on 9/3.

Unfortunately yes...there is no telling how many other orders are ahead of yours in assembly...there could be thousands of cards/orders waiting to be assembled that hit that stage ahead of your order.

Thanks, that's helpful info for sure. Hopefully I'll see some grades from that order this week. Frustrating that it sits in QA2 (grades have already been verified in QA1) just waiting for labels and cases to be checked, yet without access to see the grades.

One thing to consider when looking at how many days a step is "averaging", it only takes one or two giant order at that step to bog down the waiting time several days or more. So take what's shared on this thread with a grain of salt because nobody really knows for sure when something will get through a particular step. Less frustrating that way...the order will get done when it gets done. Trying to lower your expectation lol. Just make sure the credit card you used for the order has its email notification turned on. Once PSA charges your credit card, in most instances, that will trigger an email to your email account and your grades will be ready to view online.

timotoby Member Join Date: Apr 2016 Location: socal Posts: 122 fukuda	15 card Collector's club sub, received 9/24/20, entered 10/26/20, grades popped 5/26/21, shipped 5/28/21, somehow delivered on Memorial Day. Eight of the 15 were mine; got five 10s, two 9s and one inexplicably didn't meet min grade. I know there's been talk about pop control and tougher grading, but despite the one reject, I was pleasantly surprised. One 10 I thought for sure was a 9 due to a surface issue and the two 9s I was expecting 8s. The reject I thought was a definite 9 with the possibility of a 10, so not sure why it didn't meet min grade 9. Overall more good than bad, I was fearing the worst watching some of the recent live reveals on YouTube. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk

oddstuff Member Join Date: Dec 2017 Location: CA Posts: 5,090	One thing to consider when looking at how many days a step is "averaging", it only takes one or two giant order at that step to bog down the waiting time several days or more. So take what's shared on this thread with a grain of salt because nobody really knows for sure when something will get through a particular step. Less frustrating that way...the order will get done when it gets done. Trying to lower your expectation lol. Just make sure the credit card you used for the order has its email notification turned on. Once PSA charges your credit card, in most instances, that will trigger an email to your email account and your grades will be ready to view online.
