Surprises me too. You would think the rarity would outweigh the intra-set selct battle and how iconic the prizm is. Obviously the prizm parallels will always fetch much more but between two silvers...

1000% agreed. This cards time will come..it may take some time for people to catch on to it’s rarity, but I think it’ll eventually become one of his most desirable RC’s.

A few recent pickups. Some XYZ's (insert joke here). Not gonna lie, the tie-dye is one of the best looking refractors I've ever seen. Still not sold on the Silver XYZ, but always a sucker for serial #'d Mahomes prizm RCs and they came as a pair.





Then picked up these. Wasn't necessarily looking for them, but didn't want to pass 'em up.

Good god that prizm gold! Let me know if you ever want to move that. Yeah, ive never liked the select tie dye, but isnt the xrc tie dye beautiful? Its literally a dark card that teases you with its refraction.

What about a BGS 10?

I would still think a BGS 9.5 would get a premium over raw in holder, but definitely prefer uncirculated over BGS/PSA 9.

Then Blue Wave /149, Light Blue /199, and Orange /275 are kind of a tossup. Blue Wave used to be not desired, but has made strides with some big PSA 10 sales recently.

After that it seems like retail green, disco, pink, and silver prizm (ungraded) are all in the mix, although recently some people are saying the pink might make a jump as they seem to be fairly rare. Then RWB holds up the rear.

Just my thoughts, and I probably missed one somewhere

Dont forget about that red power! I would definitely put the purple crystals before the green scope. I think the red retail might outsell the camo.

Yes. They are absolutely stunning. Better than light blue and orange for sure. The red just straight "pops."

Damn. I was talking to this same guy on IG when I stumbled on all these Mahomes. He said they were all available like a week ago and then that same night said they were all sold. I was like wtf?!? Congrats on the scoop!!!

Awesome pickups Most would put Retail Red SSP (print run of around 10) ahead of Camo/25. Retail Red (matching chiefs jersey color) is a gorgeous looking card and much better looking than Camo imo.

Curious if anyone has looked at the raw vertical contenders pair which ends today. I would love to make a run at them but am always scared to buy cards like that raw.

Regarding the contenders: They are probably the riskiest mahomes rookies to buy raw, or even graded for that matter. As we all know, trimming and altering are pretty common. That being said, they dont immediately look trimmed. The condition of them doesnt look great. One of them appears to have a pretty wicked scratch on the back upper right corner. The sigs dont look too good either. Looks like best case scenario would be a psa 9 and a psa 7 or 8... with rough sigs. And thats if they arent trimmed
