It's a fact of life for Canadian collectors. We just collect in US funds.

But i do remember in 2013 when our dollar was worth more. Made buying so much easier.

I've made a bunch of contacts that I deal with that (I guess) trust me enough to keep dealing with me and they get my money. I also have a good friend who buys cards for me and I send him the funds and we'll meet up a few times a year where he hands them off to me. The problem is that a lot of US sellers have been burned by Canadians so I get the lack of trust.

It does suck, though, because I've missed out on some incredible deals because folks refuse to ship to Canada. Meanwhile, a lot of dealers up here only want to sell hockey, which is a sinking section of the hobby.

Why not just get a US PO box so you can get the deals? You say you live in Toronto, so it's about a 2 hour drive to America, so you could just pick up the stuff every 1-2 months

I used to have one when I made monthly trips there, now I barely go. I’m waiting for PWCC to start their mailbox system and see if that’s worth it.
