New to UFC.

I am surprised they allow choke holds. Why don't fighters just always go for a choke hold and have their opponent tap out? It seems they have a lot of opportunities to do this but do not.

I almost missed today's event as I didn't know it was so early Eastern time, but glad I didn't ended up being a really exciting card.

Magomedov KO was nasty.

Caught the last 2 fights.

Khamzat and Topuria are legit. Max was fighting well too.

From Mark Hunt to Dan Henderson to now Max Holloway…all iron clad chins eventually get cracked.

I was getting nervous for my Ank, Khamzat, Ilia parlay

2 judges had it 2-0 Ilia anyway but I thought 2-0 Max was completely reasonable. That power is real.

Ank should of been your only worry, given his record I figured he'd get the W but he barely did enough to win imo, luckily he stuffed that takedown, and had those strong left jabs...that's about it.

I was actually surprised to hear Holloway had never even been dropped, not gonna lie.

He got dropped by Justin Gaethje but for some the UFC didn’t recognize it for their stats.

Almost the whole main card didn't disappoint. Magomedov had a great knockout; well, the next two fights were decisions and not nearly wars, but the co-main event and the main event didn't disappoint. A 3-minute submission that led to a broken jaw and a nasty KO from Ilia. Very good card. And Orloboi didn't disappoint either; fighting with those mammoths definitely helped, but the Polish dude fought with bears, so yeah

Sorry Neil Magny I love the journeyman like career you carved out for yourself with such a limited skill set that never really improved but when you start getting flat lined by a grazing punch to the top of your head it’s time to call it a career.

I mean I’d much rather fight Pereira too. It’s a way easier fight with Pereira’s non-existent grappling. It’d look like the Ciryl Gane fight.

Jones also doesn't have many fights left in him. Alex is a bigger fight money wise

Yep Pereira is an easier fight and a bigger money fight. Aspinall is a better fight for “legacy” reasons but Jon Jones legacy is already cemented as the best of all-time. Which one would you want?

I must be a bad omen lolllll I don't watch every card as I watch mostly all sports so I'd be in front of TV's 24/7 but I keep up and know results. Point being I saw Raul Rosas first time live at Noche and he didn't look like anything special, and tonight was my first time seeing Shavkat and I didn't get any of the hype at all, he almost got choked out by Garry lol

I thought Volkov won but it's definitely one of the less controversial robberies imo. Seemed they were really playing it up when there has been blatant ones and they are just like "Dont let it go to the judges" lol

Shavkat actually fought decent for how overrated he is. He's usually just stationary and gets punched in the head a lot. Belal will kill him.

I'm not a Garry hater but I gotta agree, he looked broken not being able to take Garry down in the first Belal will break him worse.

Was way more impressive for Garry than Shavkat honestly.

I just have no interest in that division now unfortunately

Belal has 6 finishes in 28 fights…he rarely “kills” anyone and is also in his late 30s while coming off a serious bone infection. My money’s still on Shavkat.

UFC dies when Gaethje, Poirier and Holloway retire.

Hot garbage these days. There's just nobody likeable, and Dana will never give Tom a shot. May as well just become a Trump rally now.

Name ten fighters that are anything like what we used to see even ten years ago.

It's just not the same promotion anymore, cards across the whole year are diluted. It may be making more money, and it's sure as hell roped in the casuals, but the quality is severely lacking.

The last card was insanely deep. Really enjoyed it.
