Watched 8 Bit Christmas on HBO last night. Awesome movie. Sort of like A Christmas Story but set in the 80s, NPH is the narrator about a kid that wants an NES. Not to ruin it, but baseball cards even make an appearance in it.

If anyone wants to jump in on something that has unlimited potential and has one of the best pilots I’ve ever seen, then “Yellowjackets” is the way to go. I’m floored by how outstanding it is just two episodes in.

Binged all of the League of Legends show, Arcane. Might be the greatest video game to show/movie adaptation ever. The art style was fantastic, voice acting was well done, and didn’t go overboard putting in characters from the game. It helps to be a fan of the game but I think the show is accessible to non fans as well.

"Foundation" which just wrapped up its first season on Apple+ is my favorite new show of this year.

"Yellowjackets" and the "Dexter" revival on Showtime have both started out well.

I just started this one yesterday and am liking it so far. I did not realize that it was based off a game until the opening credits rolled.

Is it something they can expand into another season?

Just finished season 1 of the new live-action Cowboy Bebop.

It's both bad and good at the same time, so it's currently a "meh" from me. We'll see how season 2 pans out, I guess.

Binged the first 5 episodes of Yellowjackets on Showtime and it is really good! Christina Ricci’s character is fun to watch. Episode 5 really kicked everything up a notch so look forward to where it goes from here.

Station Eleven on HBOMAX is also solid. Only 3 eps released so far but I’ve enjoyed the first 2 that I have watched and I think this will be another great one.

after the ending, i refuse to watch the new season. or, i refuse to watch any more of the new season beyond the 15 minutes i watched out of curiosity.

This season is a massive step up from the previous 3. There’s a reason people tell everyone to stop after season 4 haha
