Sure, if those were /20 the pack odds would work out to 28.5k boxes (roughly), but that would still leave the pack odds for the other parallels each implying 35k boxes.

Well it would not be the first time Topps messed up the odds for a product. 25K or 35K that was still better than my initial PR for the product.

I ordered 10 boxes total. 1 order 4 boxes overnight option and then 2 orders of 3 boxes each with the free shipping. Received shipping notification for each of the orders tonight.

Right. I was just saying I could see them holding those three guys out of orange and purple, and holding back 3 supers - but holding back 15 reds seems like a stretch.

We'll see what we can figure out when people start ripping these, I guess. Thanks, Topps.

This is not how Topps usually does this. When there is not a full run of autos for players it's reflected in the pack odds. These odds are to the number that each player should have the full run.

That would appear to be the top end, give or take.

54,780 parallels at 2 per box makes 219,120 packs, which makes 876,480 total cards. Open question exactly how many autos there are but it appears to be between 451 and 574. Let's call it 520, whatever. So 54,780 color + 520 autos = 55,300 non-base cards. 876,480 - 55,300 = 821,180; divide by 330 to end up at 2,488 per card.

Our friend longbomberz got 2 in each of his boxes, but just for the sake of completeness since the last Sapphire releases have had plenty of 2-color boxes and plenty of 3-color boxes, running the numbers at 2.5 color per box would get you to 1,957 per card. Of course, that would screw up the auto pack odds even more, so I'm starting to think maybe they really did stick to 2 color per box this time.
