I am calling for a Curtis Granderson Tigers Card for this week or next.

They probably do not have 1 made up for him, but I would love to see it for one of the good guys of the game!

That was the week of NSCC though right? Not sure if they could have avoided the Meadows release, even if they wanted to.

It's a shame about Betts though, because I'd imagine his card has been completed a long time ago and they've just been waiting on releasing it. Hard to have predicted such a 'sudden' trade I guess?
But agree, if they don't want to waste it, they're going to have to do it this week.

It was during the NSCC (the week of Lindor). There were some mumblings about Betts moving since the winter meetings....just awful judgment on Topps part...they should have their ear to the ground on such possibilities. Now we miss out on a player who was a recent MVP & world champion and they will never have a card issued under that team. It's outrageous really. Fortunately we have Bryant and Arenado cards already issued though it was during peaceful times between the players and their teams...not because Topps had the foresight to get it done before the possibility of trades.

I'd throw Paul Goldschmidt with the Diamondbacks in there with Bumgarner on the Giants and Betts on the Red Sox.

Challenge is that Bumgarner opted out of Topps having the rights to him.

Goldschmidt was a hard one for me since he's my favorite player (only focus on his Diamondbacks cards). He's likely the one player I might have splurged on the 1/1 print if it had been as a Diamondback.

Surprised they did Ziegler as a Marlin. I would have expected them to do him as a Diamondback. He played the most for them and has his most success with them.

My exact thought. Especially since he retired after the 2018 season with the Diamondbacks.
