That Tatis Tetris card is peak art card ridiculousness @_@ (I don't love it but _yeesh_)

I like the Reggie LAmour Supreme (I like the entire Supreme run). The Naturel is nice and clean and the Vides works as expected.

Didn't want to start a new thread, but looks like topps still has plenty of Project card stock and holders.

interesting. These might be arriving at the wrong time for me, personally. I would like to see more NL cards.

I'm curious what the parallels look like b/c I would like to see more color pop. The muted vintage aesthetic/identity for a lot of these types of cards could use a break/refresh.

But I think I might be missing the point of the set and have my art card glasses on.

It's not a bad looking card, it's better than anytime from P100 for sure. I'd be tempted if it was a heritage stock card, or something like the living set. I'm just done with thick encased cards from Topps.

I agree it's not bad looking. And in fact I can dig it. But it's more of a promotional flyer for an event and keeps things pretty straightforward. I like the Thiele P70. I also like the Turn Back the Clock card. I also think the Living Set card from earlier this year is outstanding.

Frank Thomas turns 56 today!

Frank had a pretty mid run of Project cards.

Best:

Frank's cards broadly remind of me of the Brett cards where there's one iconic card image that everyone decided to riff on rather than celebrate the player and career. I like the Oldmanalan magazine cover.

A lot of people still holding out on trying to get over a thousand for this Ichiro card. Most recent ones I see sold on Ebay went for less than $400 each.

The Griffey has been selling for around $50.

Distortedd for me. Still sad her cards didn’t sell well as her fan base didn’t really buy them and the collectors didn’t love the cards.

I wanted her in Project 100 just for a Julio card.

interesting celebration of Brett Phillips in a Rays uni doing one of the lesser impressive things he did with the franchise. Deep cut B-side and I still don't really "get it" but I suppose it makes me like it all the more in a twisted art card forum thread way.

Project70 had too many cards thrown at us too often for far too long. Cards like the Brett Phillips were at least interesting enough for us to talk about. And way better than just having more of the same Yankees over and over.

Not after dropping out of Project 70 after only 15 cards.
