If you listened to some of the dopes in this thread you would thing he will spend spring training in some rehab for overweight people who can't stop eating.

Guys, the cats out of the bag, he's not thin... we all get it. So far, his fatness has only led him to being the best hitting prospect ever ranked. If he plays 3B, RF, etc it's a bonus. He will at least start his career in the field so for card purposes he won't start at DH and he'll have card value.

Vlad Jr is probably on the same track as Acuna last season. Topps can decide to sneak him in as a SP in Series 2 to pump the S2 hobby cases. Acuna was called up and played his first game 4/25 last year...which is the probable same time period for Vlad. If all goes well while down in the minors, Vlad could be called up for the home series vs. the A's on 4/26. Or...Topps could delay Vlad's first card and hold him off like Soto...Soto I think first card was in Archives retail...then hobby and then various other brands (Heritage High/Topps Update/Topps Update Chrome).

You know that isn't happening. At best he'll be in series 2 unless the Blue Jays do the unthinkable and don't bring him up as soon as possible. Hopefully he's an SP in series 2 and regularly inserted in Update.

I do not understand these prices. I had a Bowman Chrome BGS 10 and I thought when I sold it for $250 or so I did good.
