Saw this thread and took out my Ohtani rookies. I feel like we're approaching a junk grading era of baseball cards. I mean I am not a serious collector and I have 107 of these cards yet a PSA 10 goes for $110? Sheesh, doesn't even have an RC shield.

A 2018 Topps Chrome Refractor PSA 10 sold for $472.

Holy sheeeeeeeeeet. What would a Gold Refractor PSA 10 go for? Asking for a friend.

You won't get nearly as much as you're hoping for. Rare prices for TC have not caught up yet. You'll have to wait a bit to get the multiples you're seeing for the other big 3.

Works for me. I have no intention of selling, was just shopping for Ohtani rookies and doing some price checking and happened to see the TC sales. Ohtani fever definitely arrived much faster than I anticipated.

There’s also the new money that came into the hobby in the last year, they prefer Chrome over Paper, so that’s driving demand for Chrome through the roof. TC Acuna #150 PSA 10 was $50 compared to Update Acuna #US250 PSA 10 @ $100 about 6 months back... now those same cards have flip-flopped in which is more valuable... TC @ $450 vs Update @ $300

His control has not been good but, he's unhittable when he throws strikes. Some of those pitches (and some balls) were just filthy. Looking forward to the command coming along.
