I'm HODLing until at least a week after these are in-hand.

Football had basically the same rpa structure and prices slowly climbed by the week. This is international appeal...so I'm not seeing too much downside as the chances Luka or Trae pull a John Wall tearing their ACL doing the dougie in the kitchen are slim to none.

Congrats on holding! Wish I could but I have grading costs upcoming so this will pay for all that hahaha

Lol I hear ya man....can't really complain with a 4 digit profit for 10 minutes of work no matter how you chop it! Your profit reinvested into grading just means more compounded profits

Does anyone know how many fotl were made? Currently 99 sold on ebay alone...that's over 200k in sales before product has left the docks.

Exactly how I looked at it. Plus i told the wife it was gonna be a sell immediately. Gotta keep in her good graces hahaha

I bet 90% of people will either sell before boxes are in hand or the week that they are in hand to pay back the 750 or take a guaranteed profit. So a couple weeks after the release, boxes will be hard to get and will go up. Happens on most releases. That's why I've been sitting on my fotl boxes for a couple weeks atleast before I sell. Also if there are still Lukas and Trae /3 available, people will want boxes bad and pay big $$. Can only imagine what the /3 Luka will sell for.

My guess is around 920 and 1150, so it is safe to say at least 10% of all production has been sold today on eBay

That's what's beautiful about NT. It comes out during the offseason. Meaning the prices won't fluctuate wildly based off rookie player performance (unless the top dogs are in the playoffs). It's more based on hype leading into the next season.

Quite low risk, IMO. I don't see prices suddenly dropping off a cliff anytime soon. Unless somehow the majority of the Lukas are pulled the first week on the database.

If Baker Mayfield S&S exclusive RPA's /15 command 7-9k depending on the patch, I can only imagine what Luka will pull. Trae should be healthy as well.

I'm just shocked BO hasn't upped their offer. I have sold to BO a lot and made less than I could have on Ebay just cuz it was safer. But offering 1750 when they're going for 3k is such a big difference. I thought they would have atleast upped it to 2k by now.

Plenty of options. I've gone to BO myself numerous times without issue, but have also sold to other 'businesses' for a greater amount. Sometimes BO's offer is higher than the competition, sometimes it isn't...not sure how they all determine their prices.

I emailed one business and they said they would offer me 750 for it. Not sure if it was a joke or not haha

One thing to consider before having the box in hand (or at least shipped), is you are now losing Paypal fees on refunds. If Panini pulls a FOTL Honors and cancels orders, that's not an insignificant amount of money.

1) They are going for $2500 - $2750.

2) It is 9 hours since release. You have made 4 posts since about BOs offer. They will raise it. You won't have boxes in hand for 7 more days anyhow which will work in your favor.

I responded to this point earlier. BO will not raise it pre-release. It's bad for business to do a bunch of verbal deals for $1,750 and then 5 hours later advertise that they will do $2,300 or whatever it will end up at. Customers who agreed to $1,750 would want to back out, and for future releases customers would be hesitant to do any early deals with BO in case the price goes up again. Some of them may even go to a competitor for a deal instead. Nobody knew these would be $3,000 on eBay. Look at how many people earlier in this thread were iffy about paying $750. BO threw a dart, they shot too low, but they have an obligation now to wait for release date when they can justifiably raise their price once a "real" market is established on DealerNet.

Went back and looked through sales for 2017. Peak was $3599 at the beginning of September on eBay. Somebody mentioned BO paying $3100 in the off-season. This class has more superstar potential IMO, and the /3 makes a big difference. Higher production knocks it down some, but overall a net positive change YoY.

I don't think you'd be able to check out if you added to cart last night, as there was a mandatory update on the app that you had to download and install this morning.

I had a box in my cart from last night but was forced to update. Still got a box without issue on the app. And was able to add a second box but unable to submit payment before it sold out.

And there is always a chance BO offers less with the second offer. They've done so with Honors and White Sparkle Prizm recently. Obviously not going to happen here, but just something to keep in mind.
