Just had a chance to go through the box today (Saturday) with my nephew- surprised by the inclusion of a few names I collect (piazza and Stanton). Here’s what we liked, the Olsen photo is a cool piece. Going to look cool when I can finally pick up a shockey one day. Tight End U.

He picked up some marlins things, the MMPR, and had to keep him to one sticker pack. He didn’t really get that it was old players. Took the two leaf packs to make a little space, this box might need to be cleaned up a bit. Didn’t feel like it was my place. Space is tight. Leaf packs had 3 Agolars and a Gurley. Sticker pack didn’t have anyone notable outside of David cone on one sticker.

Where should this box go next? Want to make sure I follow the right order.

I wouldn’t mind shipping it out to you if that’s a good plan.

From what I can figure out from the thread, the status is (feel free to correct if I'm missing someone):
cfern023 (has the box)
camden2010 (next)
ftlftl (me - I have a bunch of stuff to put in it from 80s wax to a bunch of /99/lower stuff to autos to some cool Griffey/Bo Jackson-type cards where I have duplicates to refractors to some starting lineups)
- then it's open.

Ok, I'll get a DM over to Camden and get the ball rolling.

Just a heads up nothing yet from Camden. How long should we wait?

Actually guys, I think it's best we skip Camden. He hasn't posted since he asked into the box, and that was 9/25. Before that he posted in July.

EVeryone ok with me sending it to FTLFTL?

I have the box but won't be able to open it until tomorrow. It seems absolutely packed (and surprisingly heavy)!

Went through the box and there was some really cool stuff. I took a few pictures and will post them over the weekend. It's reloaded and I'll deal with shipping it out again over the weekend as well.

Default The box!!!!

Finally went through it all and it's re-packaged (somehow - I think it's even heavier now). I'll PM busyb3 and then it will be off to them tomorrow!

Here are some pics! First 3 are things that came and I didn't take, followed by some ones I added (Trae Young, a bunch of autos/memorabilia/numbered, Tim Duncan, et al.), followed by some Ripken stuff that I took (goes well with similar Jordan stuff I have), then a great Alfonso Soriano card that I'm going to give to my cousin (huge fan of his and he collects too). I put in a bunch of wax still in packs (including 1989 Topps, which I think is one of the best aesthetics of the junk wax era) and a lot more cards, especially memorabilia cards.

I posted like 2% of what was in the box. It's absolutely loaded.

The mystery is part of the fun -- like the card show coming to you! I always appreciate a little peek into the box and seeing what people set aside (and what they add). It's a great thing to share in. Thanks again.
