Aside from being too small to see very clearly, that's a great start! I'm jealous, I didn't catch onto Bowman's Best until way too late (I know, I know, it's never too late, you get what I meant).

Nice stuff! I love the Bowman's Best rookie of Shohei. I was going to go for that rainbow but got side tracked after picking up the blue, purple and refractor. Maybe I'll complete it some day.

I compromised and just bought the non-atomic version. It's shiny enough and my wallet feels better about it

Yeah... but I'm Ohtani, Mize and Canseco away from having the full set in atomic.

(A Mize sold at PWCC earlier this week for like $12. I was unable to get to my phone or a computer during the extended bidding window and thus missed it. Super, super pissed.)

I bought a 2018 Hunter Greene for $8 I couldn’t believe it. I got it because like others in this thread I’m going to bite the bullet and get the Ohtani RC. I just wanted to see what it looked like in person. It’s so sick in person.

Picked up a couple of nice Shohei's at a show this past weekend.

The dealer I bought the blue finest refractor from had a ton of great Ohtani. I targetted this one because I already have the purple refractor from this set so I want this to display with it.

Which 2018 Topps Update is the card to have for Shohei? US1? Sort of like the US300 is the most popular for Soto?

Want one to just put away and have.

Be interesting to hear others take, but I would go with the rookie debut batting once since his s2 topps is already a pitching one. When in doubt buy both!
