Patrick Mahomes Prices

Just counted, and I have 8 Mahomes cards in my collection, plus 1 at PSA. Time to start showing them off.

Select 103 Silver PSA 10 Purchased and paid for at $2,000 last night.

Was surprised after the last 9 did $600 and last PSA 10 was 25% lower. Paid $750 mid-April so didn't mind taking the profits to hopefully put towards another card

Nice sale! Supply & demand - it likely helped only one other is currently listed for $2,500. A Tri-Color /149 is listed for $2K, though. Still don’t understand why the #’d parallels don’t see as much of an increase as some of the other sets.

The tri-color is also mine. Was thinking yesterday why that had significantly less interest than the silver. Like have only received a few offers on that vs many messages about the silver (despite not being OBO)

That's awesome.You knew it was just a matter of time. Sadly I missed the boat on the 2017 Silvers. I have one BGS 9 and that's it.

Not familiar at all with the Galactics in football. Are they as tough to find as the Galactic parallels in basketball?

Well bit the bullet and sent off to BGS as opposed to PSA today, as I planned to on Monday. I always get cold feet sending off, but I have an accumulating pile. I probably need to bulk sub a bunch of long term stuff to Jewcer with PSA, but this was all much higher end stuff.

Blue Optic RC #/149 .... only one BGS 9 listed on Ebay at $2500 firm. Actually think this has to be close to getting scooped at that price as a 9.5 sold for around 4k a month ago.

2 Red/Yellow Optic RC's....pulled both these (along with a base, 2PM and Silver holo) out of one of the Black Friday retail cases. I sold my other one for about $1000 profit which is small time now.

If you are curious....this was a deal then....and looks even worse now for the people who were trying to squeeze for $100-200 off the price.

I have a 5 day order at PSA but lately I just drop them at the Post Office and try not to think about them. Turnaround times are all over the place.

Yea, I heard PSA is super backed up. I am hoping for a true 2 and 5 day with BGS. Would mean the Blue and Red/Yellows get back to me end of week next week, with the 5 days middle of the following week. I have heard good things with them lately (Likely due to the hobby gravitating to PSA lately), so will see.

That said at about a grand on 15 cards after insured ship out, and shipped back in....I'll need a bunch of 9.5's and maybe a ten or two.

They seem to be. I was following 2018 Brady's for a while, not many ever popped up. Maybe 10 or so listings ever on ebay, including the 2 I picked up.

Galactics are a case hit parallel. 200 vets on the checklist so a Patty Galactic would fall once every 200 cases. It may be 1:300 cases but I'm not sure how to interpret the way the odds are stated separately for veteran galactics and rookie galactics. Is it a 1 galactic per case with apps half being rookies or is it half the cases has just a vet galactic and the other half had a vet and rookie? Someone who broke a ton would know.

I'm quite biased as one of the few owners of a 2018 Mahomes Galactic but I do expect it to do fantastically well long term. This thread explains how important Galactics are in the Lebron market.

Probstein has been flooded lately with the PSA Sage rookies. Kinda shocked at what some of them are selling for, even if it's Probstein. They made millions of those things.

I got in somewhat early on first year LeBron and Giannis Galatics, and now they are two of the most desired cards in the Panini era. A LeBron hasn't sold publicly in 2 years now. I've been offered some pretty astronomical amounts for it, but won't budge.

As for the Giannis, it's a BGS 10, so I'm confident that it's the most sought after Giannis Galactic copy in existance. Would love to be able to track down a Mahomes like that.

I am a fan of basketball galactics and agree with their rarity and desirability especially the first year (2015) galactics. I was looking for Mahomes Galactics for the same reason but was surprised to see so many listed. I guess the printing mistake explains it.

It's interesting me to see the BKB crowd's affect on football. I'm primarily into RC stuff, but it's nice to see people find value in things like Silvers and Galactics. It's not stuff I personally want, but more desirable cards is always a good thing. Big shout out to BKB guys for making nearly anything "silver" and PSA 10 desirable.

I'm 100% convinced that as Basketball collectors come over, Golds /10 and top grade Silvers are going to go through the roof.

Try searching ebay for Golds or Gold Vinyls from top base brands of Brady and Mahomes.

Lol. Tough to find sellers anywhere. He's the biggest draw in the NFL right now. Plus all his graded cards were purchased from ebay so everyone is waiting on their orders from PSA/BGS. Even when those are mailed, I doubt there will be a huge amount for sale.
