Saying this was an "investment purchase" would be a stretch, but got a good deal on a bunch of old wax.

Not much to scream about but Griffey Jr. was my man back in the day and 1987 was the first year I started collecting and fell in love with the Donruss that year.

You can find McFarlane autos in the Spawn product and love the Family Guy Blue Harvest series.

Man that UC3 box brings back the good old days. I opened so much of that back in the day.

1989-90 - This 200-card standard-size set was produced by Collegiate Collection and sponsored by Coca-Cola, and the Coke logo appears in the lower left corner on the card face. The fronts feature a mix of black and white photos for earlier players and color for later ones, with rounded corners and powder blue borders. The pictures are superimposed over a powder blue and white diagonally striped card face, with a powder blue outer border. The top reads "North Carolina's Finest," and the school logo appears in the upper right corner. The horizontally oriented backs are printed in powder blue on white and present biographical information, career summaries, or statistics. Many numbers can be found without the trademark notation on the card front, i.e., missing the circled R under the Tar heel logo. Collegiate Collection also issued a Gold version of this set in a special binder, with an individually numbered certificate indicating that 1,000 sets were produced. The Gold cards have gold foil trim surrounding the photos.

1990-91 This 200-card standard-size multi-sport set was produced by Collegiate Collection and features figures from many sports. The front features a mix of black and white or color player photos, on a light blue background with a powder blue outer border. All four corners of the picture are cut off. In black lettering the school name appears above the picture, with the player's name at the bottom of the card face. In a horizontal format the back presents biographical information, career summary, and statistics, on a white background with powder blue borders. Most of the cards are football or basketball related. We've specifically identified each of the sports below that are not basketball.

Finally got a few Ikea shelves for my small collection.

Only started keeping sealed these last 2 years. Grabbing any thing I can find in stores.. baseball, football, soccer, pokemon, nascar.. anything! It's been pretty fun.

I wish I could snag more basketball.. Target online isn't kind to me on the west coast.

The Billy series with a glass door add on. I'd like to get a couple more of the longer ones but my local Ikea has been OOS for awhile.

Had to find these on OfferUp locally. 80 bucks for all 3 is a win.
