Going back to his last at bat of the 11-3 win over the Yankees, Lopez is hitless in his last 10 at bats. That was a fun couple games. Can we please give Vaughn a chance now?

Charlie who? The only Charlie on the 26 man roster is Morton, and I don't think he plays second base.

Vaughn was just fine at second last season. Ignore what you saw at short from him.

Point is, management said repeatedly that they wanted him playing everyday. Don't call him up if you aren't going to play him. Would be better for him to be getting reps in AAA

Would have been better as a throw in for Kc, rather have anyone else but Vaughn. If he spent all this time with Wash in the offseason and regular season while still making simple mistakes I have no hope for him at all

That certainly is an opinion. I disagree with it completely, but you are welcome to think Vaughn has no value.

While I don't think he's going to stick at short, he's more than capable of playing second base for a few games. He handled the spot just fine in 40 games during a pressure packed tight pennant race last season.

He also hasn't spent all season with Wash, he's been in Gwinnett. He's had one error in 28 games at second this season. Not sure what simple mistakes you think he's still making. Can you enlighten me on that?

I don't even care that the Dodgers won 11 in a row. This Braves team is obscenely good. It's like they're quietly working through the season at an elite level, and while us Braves fans know how good they are, it's not going to be fully known until the postseason.

No need to wait until the postseason, they play the Dodgers the first weekend in September. It will be known then

Plus like every power ranking has the Braves #1 and everyone knows they are chasing the single season HR record. I don't think it's a secret about how good they are

Just curious what you're thoughts of Michael Harris were as a minor leaguer and in general?

That's fine if you aren't a fan, but I'd love to know your reasoning by hating him so much that you thought he should have been a throw in for a trade that they only gave up Taylor Hearn, whose one appearance might go down as the worst ever career stat line for the team. Like, how was there nothing you found impressive about a player that hit over .300 and had a wRC+ over 120 at every level he played at in the minors?

Sorry, but you seem unreasonably upset about him even just being in the organization.

It's like they're quietly working through the season at an elite level, and while us Braves fans know how good they are, it's not going to be fully known until the postseason.
