Absolutely true. However, without a Ziggler heel turn, he's just fighting the same IC level guys for the next 8 months, because there's a logjam at the HW title level. That could be much worse for him.

Just watched the complete WM8 on the network for the first time since I saw it live.

Couple thoughts..

Taker/Jake the snake- Taker was scary... what a presence. He hit the tombstone on the outside of the ring, rolled Jake inside and got the 1-2-3. I can't remember the last time a guy hit a finisher on the outside of the ring, rolled a guy in and still got the 1-2-3.

How....in the hell....did Owen Hart and Skinner make the PPV? One of the all time worst matches in WM history. Owen was great, but this was just bad.

Flair/Macho- Great match, first class..

Read a pretty cool scenario this afternoon...

WHC match occurs BEFORE the Royal Rumble match...

Either Cena wins or Lesnar wins, but Rollins cashes in and leaves WHC (with possibly Paul Heyman as well).

Later on, Lesnar knocks someone out backstage, taking their spot in the Rumble, WINS the Rumble, setting up a revenge match with Rollins at Wrestlemania, Lesnar the face and Rollins the heel...

Technically Bray beat Bryan with a finisher outside of the ring at last year's rumble, Sure he hit another in the ring but it was the very next move.

Yeah, but the second finisher made the difference there no doubt imo.

WWE should let Big E talk because he is a good wrestler and can talk when given the chance (in NXT at least). A heel New Day faction would be pretty cool.

Hard to believe that the debut of NXT "tryouts"/ the debut of the Nexus shortly thereafter, was almost 5 years ago. Def can't blame the guy for spending 5 of his prime years, hanging out in the background waiting to get a shot.

SO the Rock is pretty much confirmed for the rumble..... Seen at the wwe hotel and told fans to wait and see if he was going to be there.

I like Roman (my friend and I hung out with him for a few hours pounding shots when the Shield was at their peak. Many funny stories to tell there.), but he's just not ready yet. He's a lot closer than most admit, but he can't carry the brand on his own. No way the WWE stoops low enough to have Rock try and get him over more than he already is. Hopefully...

I'm cool with Bryan, Ziggler, and Ambrose winning. I would say Wyatt but I think they need a face to win.

Reigns isn't ready and if Rollins is going to be the champ at Mania then Ambrose makes the logical sense between himself and Reigns

Renewed the $9.99 and catching up on NXT, love the brand. Hoping Team 3D makes a comeback tonight, Bubba Ray can contribute to both singles and Tag Team.
