COMC eBay shipping is slowing down. Purchased two cards from them Monday and they have not shipped. They list 5 business days as their time, which is fine. Just can't remember ever waiting more than a day for them to ship.

Change the shipping address to your COMC Mailbox and purchase through eBay. It will cost much less than sending it to yourself in Canada.

COMC.com Mailboxes
C/O [buyer's COMC username]
6727 - 185th Ave NE
Redmond, WA 98052
United States

Add: And once you've done this, send them back an email and they should be able to reroute the card to your account and refund the shipping fee.

And they just shipped!

Hooray! I'm always worried that whenever you're unhappy, the Dothraki are going to invade Westeros or pour molten gold down someone's throat or something.

Someone on there still reads this thread. Definitely not a coincidence.

Shout-outs with thanks to checkoutmydeals and mjohnatgt, both provided excellent suggestions. I followed checkout's instructions first and it worked, the card is now in my account.

That was some unnecessary stress but it's so nice to see that empty cart in my Ebay account! Really appreciate it guys, thanks again.

Hopefully someone from COMC can read about my 2 items I submitted for auction on April 10th and sent 3 e-mails about without any response.

I thought most people were saying it was taking about a month or so to get auctions listed. Or is it another issue?

Am I correct that the 5/8 batches that are running late should be subject to a 50% fee discount whenever they do get processed?

I don't think they are honoring the discount anymore.

I now have 4 batches (about 5,000 cards) that are overdue.

At least they have plenty of time to create social media postings.

They did upload 77 out of 1284 cards I had due 5/8.

Did they announce that somewhere or did they just stop doing it quietly?

The $5 monthly rebate for shipping 100 items was done pretty quietly, and probably was removed to reduce pressure on shipping once Coronavirus shut down their main operations. They likely have a requirement to sell through eBay to keep their corporate discount going, so that is why eBay sales get prioritized over site sales.
The reduction of the processing discount for late cards was made on the COMC blog post that was also emailed to sellers, so check your email from early March or read it here:
https://blog.comc.com/2020-processing-changes-faq/

To the person asking if they'll get their 50% off on a late submission, it depends. Did you submit it before March 7th when they changed their rules?

Not likely they said something about not honoring that back in March. Mine that were due in February that did not get done until April got the discount so they were before the cut-off

I submitted before the fees changed, right at the beginning of March

I think they have been offering 20% discounts for anything that was late after March 1 or so. According to the blog, they are offering no discounts for 12 week processing which is late post COVID:

***

We will only be offering discounts for missed due dates for the following service levels:

3 Week
Elite Services
Vintage and Obscure Services
Comic Book Services

We are not offering discounts for delayed processing of 12 Week, Current-Year 3 Week, or grandfathered Basic submissions.

Then you have a chance at a discount, but not a guarantee. Just check the emails you got to see what it cost. Because of COVID they basically made it their prerogative whether they give you the discount or not. Chalk it up to a freebie if you did get it, would be how I would handle it.

A submission of mine that reached COMC in January, was due March 20th, and didn't complete until April 20th (every card in the submission was late) was charged full processing fees.

So having your submission arrive before they announced the end of discounts doesn't neceassarily translate into a discount if they're late with your cards...

...unless they're just randomly applying different rules to different submissions.

I'd be interested to hear if anyone got a discount for cards submitted on a similar or later timescale to the one I mentioned above!

I sent cards at the beginning of February and when COMC announced the no late fee discount, my cards were already a month in for the submission process and didn't qualify anymore for the discount, so yours will not for sure. I don't remember the date they made the cut off other than the uproar that was rightfully brought.

I now have 4 orders past due.
My inventory hasn't been this low in over 2 years.

I paid Economy Rushed to get some cards sent to me on 4/23, still haven't been shipped.

If COMC had any sense they'd put out a release saying they were pushing back the recent fee increases or something (ANYTHING) to make longtime customers feel like they gave a F.

Lol, why would they do that? They obviously have more business than they can possibly handle, and that’s besides the whole pandemic limiting what they can do. They aren’t going to give away free money.

I agree, I had a submission due on 3/6(basic) that got the discount and a sub due on 3/20(basic) and no discount.
