2024 Summer Olympics Cards from Topps?

PSA also seems to constantly have deals ($50/$100 off 6+ card submissions) too.

Just wanted to share my small Torri Huske collection with this thread. I was originally going to go for a matching-number bookend collection, but the 5/5 relic sold just as I secured these other cards to start it up. Probably a good thing though, because I unfortunately do not have unlimited funds to get the other cards hahah. The 5/5 red posted a few pages back is so awesome.

She was my favorite swimmer by far this Olympics. Very happy to have these!

I think I saw that relic on eBay and was tempted to throw out an offer.

I know it's an insert set but the autographed 1984 cards look sweet. I've been trying to recoup funds from my breaks/purchases, but have contemplated pulling my Gabby Thomas 1984 US Flag /76 auto from eBay because I like it a lot.

Cut my blasters on ebay down to $29.99 and sold my last 3. Had to get them out of the house, having opened 3 in the last 2 days...lol

Hahaha, I have approximately 25 blaster boxes left. Although I've sold a bunch of them, sales have slowed down a little (priced at $36.75 for most of the time though, but dropped down to $35.99).

I've been ripping one every few days as they sit on the shelves so I need to move the bulk of them before I get too tempted and rip them all lol.

Normally, I wouldn't care to rip a lot more of them, but I've recently spent a lot on TC Olympic singles and don't have unlimited funds haha.

Wow, you and everyone else who has unopened boxes sitting at your homes have some major willpower. There's no way I could do that. Those boxes would have been opened the day they arrived.

yep...i started opening mine so I had to drop the price to get them out. I ended up opening all the rest of my hobby boxes, but at least I got a ledecky auto, so I think I broke even or came out ahead

Haha, I mainly bought the blaster boxes because I didn’t think I’d be able to get any hobby boxes at reasonable prices (and they were also undervalued relative to other products on the market).

But I ended up with 56 hobby boxes (32 at MSRP and 24 at slight premiums). I ripped 44 of those (have 1 sealed case in the closet) so I no longer have a need for the blaster boxes. I did rip 8-10 of them and they’re definitely fun but they’re not as fun as hobby boxes haha.

Are you going (or have you gone) for the set? If I remember correctly, you have at least one of the big ones (IIRC, Phelps or Ledecky).

Brilliant! That's going to be beautiful when it's put together.

I agree with the others, I have a Phelps and these /76 champions are the best.

Nah I just have the Phelps and Xander. Haven’t been picking up anyone else but those two guys. Getting a nice collection of Phelps /50 /76 and /10 non autos.

I can't believe it, but I actually pulled a Ryan Murphy Dynasty Patch Auto /10 out of a blaster from my local Target. The patch had a dent in it, and two of the corners were horrible so I sent it back to Topps. I am very interested to see how they make good on this.

Although I have only opened seven blasters, I have pulled at least an auto, relic, or serial-numbered card from six of them.

I have heard of and seen multiple horror stories of sending low-numbered cards back to Topps and people getting screwed over badly. I hope they send you another Murphy Patch autograph back, but I would also prepare yourself for something much worse. If they don't have another Murphy, they send something of comparable value, but their value system sucks. I wish you the best of luck and please keep us updated.
