It is either a PSA 10 or a PSA 9 with a population of 1.

Yah...those two orders got into Assembly a day apart. My guess is that the larger order is taking a bit more time to get the cards and the labels into the case holders. The larger order will probably hit QA1 today/tomorrow.

OK, then it's a PSA 10 since these are pretty common cards with lots graded. None of the TCG cards I graded are rare in any way (more than pop 1 for sure)!

Thanks for clarifying!

Great! Have been waiting for both orders for over a year now! Glad to have them on their way home in the next few weeks!

About five days from received to shipped for a two card express. I think on at least some orders they've worked out some of the kinks in QA2.

1 1 63578284 GEM MINT 10 2021 Pokemon Celebrations Classic Collection 4 Charizard-Holo Card
2 1 63578285 GEM MINT 10 2021 Pokemon Celebrations Classic Collection 4 Charizard-Holo Card

Finally, after more than 13 months, I finally received my 34 card order from PSA. Some of these guys might be retired by now but I am still happy with the final grades.

Happy to hear this. Sent my first Express (first submission ever), only one card, and it went from received to grading in 24 hours. I'm on pins and needles.

As expected based on yesterday, this order popped ahead of an earlier order which is still in Assembly stage. Here is the breakdown:

10= 45
9= 36
8= 3
7= 2
6= 1
5= 1 (this was listed as NaN on the app when I looked it up)

51% gem rate...eh, could be worse I guess. These were all un-played base 1999 Pokemon game and Fossil cards, so it's not the end of the world to get 9's.

That's a lot of 10s! I'd be happy with that return. Looks like I have about 2 weeks to go for my Pokemons!

Is it? This is the first time I got Pokemon cards graded, so I don't know much about gem rates, etc. All I know is that they are "vintage"! Too bad there were no holos...all the holos were in the first sub!

Also, did not know Energy cards in PSA 10 format sell really well?!

I would consider that a big victory sub for what the cards were. I have a large order with the same type of stuff and I would be ecstatic with that 10 and 9 rate. They have been grading very hard on vintage pokemon.

Ok, cool! I did not know they were being harsher on vintage Pokemon. Like I said, these have never been played and I bought these when I was younger during the "craze" and just bought them to say that I have some! lol

I remember they went from pack to those 9-card binder sleeves and never opened until the pandemic "forced" me to go through my old cards and I found these!

Yeah, and as you can see from my next subs, I got the urge to buy Pokemon again so I bought a bunch of modern from September all the way to December last year. Hope those turn out well too! Fingers crossed!

Then I stopped, and focused back on sports cards, which is my bread and butter!

I'd think so. I also don't know much. I submitted a bunch in hopes of flipping them for a profit.

Same here, hard to beat the $9 per grading fee! Hard to lose (except if you get under a 9). 9's should be break even or slightly better; 10's should be profit.

Good Luck with vintage holos, the non holos if not played and put in sleeves or pages early on have good chance to be 9-10s. Holos on the otherhand are very sensible to scratching and have the print lines. These are very hard to spot with the naked eye and not a lot of people think to look for these when sending them in for the first time. Think 1993 SP baseball with the foil. Anyways Good luck with the rest of the grades!

Are 8's "good" grades for Holos? That's what I have coming from the first sub based on what I saw on the app.

8s imo are about average for early WOTC holos. PSA 10 are really tough to get now but i think PSA 9 still go for a lot more than the raw card itself. There are some really nice PSA 9 cards that if graded years ago PSA would have easily given them PSA 10s

Alright, cool. I did get one 9 (Zapdos). Otherwise, all 8's for the holos!

My 2/1 value modern has been stuck in assembly since 10/12. That's the longest stretch I've had an order sit in that stage. I did see a couple posters had close to three weeks. There's definitely a log jam and some speculation they might be short on holders given a plastics shortage.

My 4/2 value modern just hit grading stage.
